Adhesive is adhesive. Don't matter if it's scotch or sephora. Yes, "removing" some of the adhesive by pressing on tape on back of hand a few times lessens its intensity bc it picks up skin cells & oils, creating a slight barrier.
Between the frame when the stickers are removed and the last frame, dark eyeliner was added - but not shown - that makes a huge difference in the final result. A pity that adding eyeliner wasn't shown because just having the eye shadow wings alone just didn't have that 'oomph' without the additional eyeliner.
