I feel like people are quick to blame others about the game. Like survivor mains complaining about hunters even if they are newer to the game or the devs for being lazy towards our server. I do think that it's just a lot of everything together, the difficulty for new people to understand the game, the repetitive matches, poor hunter balancing, neglect to our server from devs, toxic players towards each other, and the stale formula the seasons have been following. I doubt many will read this, but if you do. Phoenix made really good points!! If we can take care of whatever we as a community can do, it'd make the world of a difference. Staying positive, being vocally active to the devs, and help those who might want it will all go a long way to address our issues.
I feel like if idv had a game get more attention they would balance their game, I’m a hunter main in idv and I can say a lot of this have become unbalanced and all you can get are draws, even if you don’t camp, if idv had Competition they would fix everything.

Being a Minds eye and Lawyer main really helped me on finding survivor as a hunter, at some times, I even got full presence in my first camera as Joseph...
As an ex-jojo main, he helped a lot to know, he was my first hunter ever (im a survivor main), i automatically memorized the spawns with his skill which helped a lot as a surv
...The spawn points have logic?? I thought netease just threw random darts to the maps and went "yup these are the spawn points"

Yeah I just had a match with undead and I managed to get a 20 second down. Perfect start. But then no matter how many I downed,cipher rush gave them a free win. Only one survivor died. And they started emoting at the gate and trashed talked me at the end in post chat. I’m gonna take a long break from this game until they buff hunters in general after what I just went through lol.
@@grievousclock7519 Or do something about emoting at gate for no reason unless they plan to rescue (penalties), fix Undead's hitbox in the meanwhile too (and of other hunters who sometimes hitbox so well it's like an animation bug) and as BBlackPhoenix sugested once, adjust Decoding Speed Accelarated (which could maybe just happen once at least one survivor was chaired and out of the match.)
I dont think all hunters need a buff, but survivor skills need adjustments. I've even heard, and I thought about this before, the possibility of using teleport with priestess key portals (blue ones).
I mean, if we can do that to chairs!

You know it's crucial to remember the spawn point especially if you're playing hunter, most notably when using Joseph.

I never had to remember spawn points when i played other hunters like Bq, ann and antonio.

@@_AbhiRam_ it can't be helped.. He can be pretty weak against good team nowadays and can easily struggle once you messed up as him. If you missed your blink (well you're doomed) and wasting so much time with the photo world, you can easily get cipher rushed by them due to how ineffective his ability can be sometimes. He's truly that kind of hunter that also relied too much on luck with the spawn (can guarantee that in each map, there's always a bad one) which is also risky since you need to gamble a lot with him. You'd barely hear anyone saying that he's a skilled hunter because of that factor sadly..I think he truly need an adjustment or something better to make him more effective to compete decently. (it doesn't helped that I keep on watching his main getting bullied a lot lately and even I having a tough time as him personally)

this is extremely helpful!! thank you very much phoenix!! after playing idv for a while, i have learnt some rough spawn points, so whenever i play hunter i do tend to find a survivor quite fast. but sometimes it takes a bit to find someone and its just a waste of time searching the whole map lol! so, as i said before, this is very very helpful!! :D
If you still have trouble finding survivors, playing clerk could help. Clerk can quickly look around ciphers, so you’ll quickly get used to where the survivors first ciphers are.
as a joseph main, honestly its just my muscle memory i dont even rmb all the spawns but my hands remember
Another tip: try playing dual faction even if only in qm. You will be able to familiarize the spawn points of hunters and survs.
Earlier today, I played rank match with my friends in moonlit. We noticed the the hunter was WuChang, and we decided that we would keep rotating. After 3 ciphers popped the first survivor to be found was Mercenary (Me) and the hunter had no choice but to chase me, considering the fact that he could not find anyone
This week I am actually taking a break from playing idv because it has been stressing me out. I personally love playing as hunter, but I have notice I has become a real headache and I am not enjoying it as much as I usually do. I've also been seeing more toxic people in matches and it just amazes me how rude they can be. Sure I can get frustrated at a match, but one thing I'll never do is insult a person for something they did on accident. Whenever I see this I tell the person that it's ok, you did your best. I love the game truly, but major changes need to be made or else this game is going to lose a lot of support.
I actually sent an email to the developers of the game telling them that the game really does need a rework so there can be balance between both classes. The game can't be fair if one is always getting the goodies while the others get the leftovers.
Tbh your not the only one, I had to take a break too, being hunter is so stressful and after playing my heart and head starts pounding, i have to keep in mind so much stuff as a bloody queen main, that I someone even go off on my boyfriend, over a kids game lmao, it’s just extremely stressful when I hit through someone or their faster then they should be or my wifi gives out and I come back to 4 cipher pop, even people calling me toxic for not letting one leave when I finally get a win
Thanks for this video I plan on becoming a Jack main soon so this helped however I usually find a surv within like 10-20 seconds of the game lol but otherwise I have that one persons trait
As Seer main i hope that hunter comes to me first, without presence is ofc safer to kite and so i can increase rage for late game! I always end up using 3-4 owls in a match and they HELP ALOT! (Sadly i get ignored sometime at early game :C)

I hate spawning near shack in hospital, hunters always go there so I hide near the bushes before even trying to transition cause when I transition I always get found and get first kite. Not kidding, ALWAYS so I just hide lol hunters usually think the tinnitus comes from godkite cipher (walls or whatever it's called)
It's so sad to see more and more people quitting IDV everyday. This game has been a huge comfort for me since November and I've spent a bunch of money on it (unfortunately) so I'm hesitant to leave. But yeah, the ping issues, the lack of attention with NA/EU, the unbalancing... It gives me a headache everytime. I main pretty much only non-meta characters (Female Dancer and Mary) and I never know how my matches will go. I have to thank this game for introducing me to my best friend, though. Me and her are looking forward to buy an whale acct, but we're not sure because the game might die soon, so 😭

BOTH BonBon saw me cyfering window dash for speed to get away THEN Hunter who used a butterfly to teleport wacked me got downed. Then face camped from both who kept spreying the floor.
So all in all fun game.

It's sad to see an amazing content creator leave because they love the game, but aren't able to see it improve...It's not really fair to have people play your game for years and not try to fix the core issues they've been having for a while
I honestly wish the asylum map was more common if it hasn’t been removed yet.
I just refer to where I spawn as a survivor- but it doesn’t always work :(

Bonus Fact: Did you know that injured survivors make more noises than healthy survivors. If you are the hunter and you can hear an injured survivors' agony noise, they are very close.

is it weird that i know lakeside spawn points because i kept playing 2v8 a lot? like i can tell which spawn points are bad as a survivor and which spawn points are good as hunter hahaha
The only problem with this game is the ping. I can play CODM in ultra graphic, but i can only play this game in low graphic, otherwise i will get unexpected ping spike. That's really ridiculous

unrelated but do you guys think Leo is a C tier hunter or should he be higher?
I'm a crocodile hunter who mains BonBon and seconds Leo so here's my take on it. The problem with Leo is getting that first down. He has a D tier zero presence ability in my opinion and it can be quite difficult to get that first survivor if you find someone who is difficult to chase. Once he gets his puppets, he's an A tier I think because his camp is really strong, he has pretty good map pressure, and his chase is decent. So since he is so weak earlier on that has more weight on the overall grade so generally I would say that C tier is a fair grade for him. However, if Leo is taken into a team that doesn't have more than 1 survivor that is good at kiting him I think he is B tier and maybe even A- tier for those that are really good at him.
I think he’s a B tier minimum, i get my first down at 2/3 ciphers left usually and still manage to get a win
I am using leo for 8 months, he is the worst hunter in the game for only one reason, he has no early game Chase that makes him d tier , if had a small chase ability like one phantom at the start of the match with an increased awareness, he would become A tier because he has really good map pressure, great camping, an inbuilt semi excitement, he can also find survivors hiding with his puppet. That's my opinion.
Basically he becomes a god as the match goes on
@@zyzzenjoyer7825 exactly, his only weakness is early game, if the survivors somehow f**d up early game and fed him presence there is no way they can win against a good leo.
well sir... you make this video, but to much distraction. first we need the main video is the MAP spawn survivor, but instead u just show a little map on upper right, is hard to see, and didnt have Map "Name" Tag so fast we understand ("oooh this map"). please make a new video for this new season 26+ Map survivor spawn Location

Really, Red Church is easy to memorize since it is a small map.
