Di nila alam yung mga bagong vocal styles na ipinapakita ni Morissette sa mga pinoy kasi nasanay na sila sa same technique and style ng mga ibang pinoy singers. Meanwhile, Morissette has the creativity and ability to apply that "spice" in a song. Morissette is one of the best standards we have in vocal styles. For now, si Mori ang may pinaka unique style kasi naaapply niya ang aggressive singing style na galing kay Christina Aguilera, tapos hindi siya pilit na gawin iyon, it comes out naturally.(ex: listen) For me, yung mga squeaks and vocal breaks nya are from the playful side of Morissette. (Ex: rolling on the river sa asap) Kung kaya niya maging aggressive kaya niya maging soft and emotional, (ex: could you be messiah). She could also darken her tone, and also become light. Ibang iba siya sa iba na birit lang. She has the style.

Morisette does not have a natural husky voice. Her vocal breaks is unhealthy because again its "intentional". Si mariah natural ang break mg boses niya coz she has vocal nodules and she has learned to sing through that and I'm sure if she dislike it, she only has learned to play through it since in her early days buo ang boses ni Mariah na may slight husk. Morisette is forcing herself to develop nodules which may affect her singing voice in the long run, pwede siya magkaroon ng premature vocal decline at hindi na makabirit, more so puro whistle nalang at maging super whispery which is yun ata gusto niya ma achieve yung mag mala mariah carey na vocal declining. Sayang boses ni Morisette kasi maganda ang upper range sana mahanap niya totoo niyang tunog at tigilan na niya yung mga technique na hindi natural.

Sabagay bata pa siya, marami pa siyang madidiscover na techniques at texture sa boses niya at mahahanap din niya yung sarili niyang tunog.
