God I love this WoW content, I hope Michael really leans into this on his channel. Esp more in depth modifications that would be difficult for the average person
Thank you for introducting me to actually build my own azerothcore build. I learned so much about Git, Lua, Cmake and a bit of C++. Going through this is a good learning experience on networking as well.
Been playing on Ascension on and off since 2017, though I will most likely switch to Project Epoch. I have been looking into getting Trinity Core on my computer and play around with it and see what I can learn. It is great to see another channel put out this kind of content, so looking forward to more.
I discovered your videos a couple weeks ago. Last weekend I set up my server, and now I'm working on making the AH bot more betterer :D I also made a modification of dynamicXP to adjust the XP gain in a 5 man group, so that everyone gets adjusted to the lowest player and a couple friends playing together won't diverge too far. And also some tweaks to guildhouse to make it easier to use. I think thats something that should be emphasised, all this is open source and everyone can help make it better! Thank you!
Nice video! Thanks for the overview. I first wanted to just play solo on my own server but now that I see there are others that are well maintained I might check them out too.
You should be able to edit this already, look up the change of models and particle effects. I saw a lot of guildies that changed their imps and other demon models those of their liking
I have tried Project Ascension, but I felt too overwhelmed with the options. Later on I found Chromiecraft. I love their open source mentality, and the good thing is that I don't feel FOMO due to it being an Ultra Progressive server.
Hi, just found your channel. I write scripts for one of the big Private Servers, its interesting how Blizzard find and copy and polish some of the ideas that private servers bought out, We now have Ai bots in Dragonflight that help you solo a dungeon, all be it a finer version but these were in Wrath Trinity core and Mangos repacks a few years back now. Some of the ideas in Classic private servers are now in Blizzards Season of Discovery and lets not forget Hardcore mode was a private server Dev development before Blizz took it up. We always have to remember the Warcraft Program is all of Blizzards teams making but lets also remember the work undertaken by private servers and their Devs. There already private servers running Shadowlands and even Dragonflight but a closer examination shows they leave much top be desired and only really concentrate on End game material, leaving zones lower down missing lots of content with lots of bugs...but...its only a matter of time !
I've got a love/hate relationship with Project Ascension. Their content polish as of late has been phenomenal. They now have powerful build calculator tools, a well maintained wowhead style database, and their seasonal content has been fresh and exciting. Their content balancing however... leaves much to be desired.
I play on a private Server that is in development by a close friend. We are about 10 players testing it. I would want to get into programming and designing to build kind of a dnd-campaign inside of WoW. But I don't know where to start.
I played bit twow and solocraft, only problem is they don’t support controller! Ever since I started to use consoleport addon, I am free from my pc most of time and still enjoying wow. I would love to try solocraft dungeons / raids on a controller
Its were WoW lost and failed so much potential! I remember Counter Strike with all those rats and custome maps and you could play they way you wanted. WoW never did that but they could and made their IP 1000 times better.
I tried, I did ;) When launching the Authserver it couldn't find a lib. When I opened the location it was there. When I did a deep search I found 11 copies through various programs, with the same file, so It's not liek I was short of them :) Ah well. I would have preferred solo with a bot populace than dealing with shitty children, man-children who make everything a sex joke, or people screaming about how stoned they are...but it was not meant to be. Maybe some day someone will create a compiler that does it all. Or maybe I can get a pi box set up and use that instead of a PC :)

This is SO COOL! Well done! I love this!
That sounds awesome.
Can you point me in the right direction for the auction house mod and how to open the server to just me and a couple friends?
Nice video! Thanks for the overview. I first wanted to just play solo on my own server but now that I see there are others that are well maintained I might check them out too.
just dont play on turtle wow. The devs are worse and more money hungry than blizzard. Total manipulators.
I'd love to see the retail Fire Mage animations in Classic+ (or even current classic!)

Oh, that's very interesting, I'll have to look it up, thanks!@@gioelecarratelli4593

IF Azerothcore get the same playerbots version from cmangos, then AC will be unbeatable
great video!

Yeah I’m not surprised at all that they’re taking the ideas and using them.

Wonder what the real difference between autobalance and solocraft? Do they conflict?

No links to the modules?
Good idea. Let me sort that out.
@@MichaelCrilly Thanks 👍
I'm really curious about your thoughts on projects like hour of twilight and shinobi story, ones that mod the game into a completely different game

Very very cool! I love seeing people put passion into such projects.
Turtle WoW has been a lot of fun to play. Chat banter is good, server is well run, new content makes it unique yet not dissimilar to vanilla.
I just want to pvp
I can make that happen, bro! Loads of people want that, especially in AU.

Tauren paladins!!
There’s a mod for that.
