This is a wonderful song and I can relate so much to it. In 2009 I made a choice that changed my life forever, I was around 27 or 28 yeas old when my Bi-Polar depression had me getting ready to end my life by hanging myself in my parents basement where my computer repair lab is and just as I was ready to kick the chair out from under me, My day with excitement in his voice called me upstairs after just getting home from church and said Hey Jake, Come here I need to tell you something great! I knew that in that minute God saved me. My Dad told me on how he wanted to ask me to go on a Men`s Retreat of All Christian men who will be brothers and make friends with one another. I said YES! immediately without even thinking twice. After I got home 3 days after arriving thee and being a part of it, I began the new journey of giving my life back to God. I also deal with being an Alcoholic in recover since I sobered up on 9/17/2015 and today because I put god first, I have 2 months clean and sober and live a happier life. I Get my 60 Day coin tomorrow from my sponsor who has see all the hardship I deal with in this last 2 months and is happy like me that i am still going strong because just 5% of the problems I have now would have gotten me to the bar. Now, They get me to meetings and to church.

Amen! What you just said is what everyone needs to hear every once in a while. My boyfriend well he is going through a lot in school, he's been bullied so many times by different people that if theirs something that I know is bothering I'll right then and there I'll make a silent prayer and he'll see my lips moving and he would tell me something like "Thanks I really needed that" . And well just that simple action helps him a lot with whatever he's going through. I really hope that people will stop bullying him because, I've also been bullied before and I know how it feels it's honestly a terrible thing to go through and I think that no one should ever be bullied but not everyone is perfect. God help those who are doing these things stop and realize what their doing actually hurts and that they don't think it's any fun whatsoever.

I got a little teary eyed, being reminded of all the times when Jesus rescued me, the times He let me face trials to become stronger, the times when I'd fail and be mad at Him, the times when I win and forget to thank Him. I love this, we've all struggled with sin and the world's temptations for us to conform to its standards, especially now, but God is with us through all of it. He forgives us when we don't deserve it, never abandons us when we do it to Him, and most of all He intercedes for us forever more. So even through this journey God is with us, don't lose hope, don't let Satan win because He can't, and He doesn't cause the glory is to Christ

Emmanuel weld Emmanuel, I went through a very dark time in my life a month or so ago. This song came on when I was listening to XM radio. God spoke to me through this song. I got to work a few minutes later and I just lost it. I cried uncontrollably and it was like a burden was totally lifted from me. It would be an honor to be your Christian friend and prayer warrior. This song literally got me through one of the toughest times in my life. I praise God because in the storm he was watching me in the crucible. The moment I stopped trying to carry the cross and let him miracles happened. I was homeless he found me a home. I was jobless he gave me work. I was hungry he fed me. Had to learn the hard way how treacherous my heart truly was.
I was going to kill myself. I had a date set and means. I demanded from God a sign right then and there. My phone rang. I found out I was to be a father. I broke down in tears. God was going to trust me to raise a child. All of my doubts and lack of self worth disappeared in that moment.
16 months after my son was born. I became a single father of just me and my little man. The stress of how I was going to handle this had me low. Then I heard this song and my testimony came before me.
God showed me what he had gotten me through all the stress went away. My son turns 6 next week. He loves me and I love him. I did not know what love was till this last 6 years. I know my God loves me 1000% times more then I love my son.
Jesus is my Lord and Savior!!!! I have won and I have lost.

He had a great influence in others lives and was there to fix everything he loved people, he was a free spirit.
