I discovered this show some years ago when it was on Netflix and just fell in love with it. I'm 65 yrs old now and this is by far my favorite show and I've seen a lot of TV. I rewatch it regularly. It keeps me sane 🤣. Love Peter and Walter but also Walter and Astrid. And Peter and Olivia of course ❤
I loved this show so much. I especially loved me some Walter! Regardless to his many ,many mistakes of his personal life, I still adored him. The writers and actors did not get the flowers they deserved. This show was truly phenomenal!!!!
One of the best shows... Enjoyed watching every episode... It's so intriguing.. Love Agent Dunham, Peter Bishop.. Of course Walter Bishop... Strange it's underrated...
Was hooked from the very first episode. John Noble largely carried this series. I own all 5 Seasons and I'm about to buy them on Blu-ray but I sure like the hologram DVD cover for that first season! So cool! This and Lie to Me, starring Tim Roth, were two of our favorites in my family.
I've been binge watching Fringe for the last few weeks, and I'm already on season 4. It's kinda sad to know that I'm nearly finished with it because I have been absolutely loving the show, and Walter is by far my favourite character going from random thoughts to how he explains the science is a joy to watch
I hate the fact that a great show like Fringe had to go because people have no love for sci-fi on television. I even remember a article from the New York Times calling it the greatest show on television that nobody is watching. I remember actually crying during the series finale and and that's something that doesn't happen often with most shows I've watched.
People also have a short attention span and would rather get a new story each day or easily digestible bite sized story lines instead of an in depth story with twists. At least Fringe was concluded (for the most part) as was Bones and The Following but Almost Human was cancelled way too soon.
I really think it had to go because, as with all things that JJ Abrams does, it eventually became so convoluted and unnecessarily complex, that the only way out was to put an end to it. I loved the show but it did test my patience at times.
Best show on tv history. John noble was the best actor in the world for 5 years and he got no awards. Shame. Anna torv was really a surprise, she is a great actress and Josh Jackson is simply Josh jackson. Amazing trio.
not to mention jasika nicole and lance reddick, amazingly i never knew they were australian before i finished watching the season 5 finale. also the supporting characters were awesome. and also for each actor/actress playing 2 different versions of themselves too . OUTSTANDING!
I just started watching this in 2024. I love it, exactly the type of show I was looking for since Lost [I know, JJ was involved, and there are references to the show]. It has its problems for sure at times, laughably so: Example right from the first episode, Peter and Walter's reputation is being built up, how Peter is disgusted, annoyed with, and doesn't trust his mentally deranged father, BUT, he'll hook up Olivia to the very fringe "crazy" deprivation tank and help her with the psychedelic IV drips, all the while vehemently opposed to all of this. I could harp on a few bad writing/hack moments, the science or physics not making sense. It would be easy to be a pedantic "Acshually..." douche about it, but in the end, the good outweighs the bad, and it's been a blast so far.
To quote John Noble from an interview to TRINGE."Luckily Joshua Jackson was able to bring the serious tone in the right manner to my goofy Doctor Bishop comments That was what made those scenes so well performed "
I binge watched fringe a few yrs ago...Awesome show. I wonder if Walter was inspiration 4 Rick from Rick n Morty? Walter was an insane super genius who was as crazy as he was smart. He invented a machine 2 move between dimentions , he had a son die n 1 dimention & took a new 1 from another dimention. He was funny n always hi but was prone 2 bouts of insane rage and insensitivty 2 the human condition. He was Rick he never turned himself into a pickle but i bet he could have!
I do continue to wonder if anyone will ever create another show as great as Fringe. Are any up to the task? Not likely. But it would be nice. I miss Fringe.
The early seasons had a much more raw, authentic feel. I enjoy the series as a whole, but there's a noticeable difference in quality beyond the first season.
I don't think I've ever been so emotionally moved as I am when Walter connects with Peter. It makes me think of my father and how much I hurt them when I tried to kill myself
Its a show for i mean everyone but deep down its for people who really i mean really want to absorb and think theories and realities from past present and future and i mean most people dont think.
I was a huge fan of this show, my best friends dad would tell us stories that became episodes on this show, these were secrets I thought I would take to my grave! They made a tv show about the secret war and all sorts of far out secret stuff that if I talked about these events I would be taken away in the dead of night
It shocked me when Walters son died in this universe and he broke the wall to another a snatched a paralelo kid just like his son and took a toy car that was so strange looking from that dimension right in that moment
It's jarring to hear Broyles speak to Olivia so harshly. It's such a contrast to the whole rest of the show. I mean, he's always stern but we come to quickly understand their relationship and how they respect each other which rightfully didn't come from the start
Well, same has happened to other promissing shows since STAR TREK TOS and TIME TUNNEL. Mostly it happens because the people in charge of the studios just go for some statistics and not for quality. Soon some of them will suffer because the reruns will prove their failure not grapping the value they have thrown away. The show could have easily widened with more stories in between and not just focused to the main plot.
5 amazing seasons and a cult following is way better than a longer show with declining quality. No story can go on forever, all show runners should end on a high note instead of milking it until they run out of ideas
It’s hard to watch Colonel Broyles in this episode. The way he speaks to Olivia is disgraceful. He would never do that. Poor choice from “Point flashlights at camera for no reason” Abrams.
I do not watch cop shows, at first this was different. But then halfway through she turns into dirty Harry. Toward the end everyone dies. Kind of hard to keep straight who is on what timeline. Just because they get killed off does not mean they won't be back. Walter can come up with some of the craziest things to say from time to time. The black guy playing the boss comes across as a bad ass which gets old. But in one episode he touches something of Walters and it is laced with cocaine, big time drugs and the boss gets shit faced and that was a funny episode. Sadly most all the bad guys in this show are white men. I just knew the bad guy at the end was going to go through hell. Seemed to me he got off a little to easy. September really got the shit end of the stick as well. I suppose they have to kill off the main players to end the show. But killing off one and another only to bring then back again gets old. With all the crap they can do they should bring back Walter. Get September back on his feet and swap them out. It can be a really sad thing when a child is taken from you. All in all, this is not a bad show. But it could be better.
Seriously one of the greatest shows ever, horribly underrated
Absolutely, and an incredible cast.
Agreed 100%

Yup! I miss Fringe soooooooooooooooooooooo much
I agree! Sad that the show’s ratings started going down, which is why the show ended
"I don't want to. No, no I'd rather not. I'm just saying I can"
I fucking love Walter!
😂😂
Fringe was a show well ahead of its time.
and they still pulled it off!

in all the name he has called astrid...in the last episode of series he says... that's a beautiful name...that moment got me
That’s great writing and a long way to build a pay-off in writing.
i love this show!!! nothing beats a good ol fringe binge...and it is almost a blueprint for mandela effects
Omg, fringe binge? And I thought I was the only one who came up with that!!!! Awesome!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
One of the best shows... Enjoyed watching every episode... It's so intriguing.. Love Agent Dunham, Peter Bishop.. Of course Walter Bishop... Strange it's underrated...
Are you from India?
Peter bishop wasn't the real son of Walter..it was from a parallel universe..and Walter snatched him here after his real son died
I really miss this show. One of my absolute favorites. I adore John Noble in anything that he is in. ✌❤

You'll love it even more on the second watch through!
If I could I would personally fund this show literal forever

Bawled my eyes out... in that last season of Fringe
the last season of fringe was a roller coaster of emotions. One of my favourite shows of all time
I really think it had to go because, as with all things that JJ Abrams does, it eventually became so convoluted and unnecessarily complex, that the only way out was to put an end to it. I loved the show but it did test my patience at times.
Walter and Astrid are so adorable 😊
you mean Astro xD
@@TinyCloud90 Pretty sure that's Aspirin.
A close relative of mine has mental health problems, and I found John Nobles acting to be both realistic and often moving.
I have mental illness and I relate to Walter.
A masterpiece of a show.
Only a Month Back I came to know about this Show. It's Worth Watching!!! I binged watch them all 5 seasons over 2 weeks
Best show on tv history. John noble was the best actor in the world for 5 years and he got no awards. Shame.

Peter: her heart stopped
Walter: ya got crack?
I've heard people say that Olivia is a blonde Sculley, the skeptic of the team. I think Peter was the skeptic, Olivia was open to Walter's weird ideas
Best show and amazing actors. My Fave Walter quote 'I fell right into her vagenda' Lol
The the the best shows I have ever seen..binge watching ❤️😍😍😍😍
I love this show. One of the best hits gem show I every see. I wish I can watch this show again

This is relaxing time with Dr. Walter Bishop.
I salute you sir for your choice of clip, now I'm going to dust off my dvd collection of fringe, thank you !!
RIP Lance Riddick

I do continue to wonder if anyone will ever create another show as great as Fringe. Are any up to the task? Not likely. But it would be nice. I miss Fringe.
You wrote this for more than three years ago.
You don't happen to have stumbled upon another great show like Fringe since then?
Grimms great 2
"I am making popcorn" 😂😂😂
The early seasons had a much more raw, authentic feel. I enjoy the series as a whole, but there's a noticeable difference in quality beyond the first season.
Indisputably the best tv show of recent times
miss this show so much!!
walter's comedic timing 😂 @6:16
I love this show so much!!
I know i cried, beautiful work.
Walter Bishop is the greatest Entertainer Living on earth
That last medicine was LSD.
most of these are incomplete without Peter's quip afterward
I don't think I've ever been so emotionally moved as I am when Walter connects with Peter. It makes me think of my father and how much I hurt them when I tried to kill myself
Clap clap! Lights go out. "I ordered on television"....not something we do these days! I mean, what's television? =)
I would like a Walter Bishop series.
He would rather return to St. Claire 's than work here without you.
Netflix should bring the series back with the same cast.
We Stan Walter Bishop
ohhh i just pissed myself hahaha
just a squirt 🤣
Its a show for i mean everyone but deep down its for people who really i mean really want to absorb and think theories and realities from past present and future and i mean most people dont think.

Ingenuity is important.
Would love to see full episodes on TH-cam!
Never seen Fringe .. here to see if I will like it ... I keep LOL'ing at ex-Dawson Creek guy acting as the TH-cam Comments :) LOL
there are not right videos to understand what Fringe is.. cannot be put in a box, but you should watch it
Let’s make some LCD 😂😂😂😂😂
I miss Walter
It shocked me when Walters son died in this universe and he broke the wall to another a snatched a paralelo kid just like his son and took a toy car that was so strange looking from that dimension right in that moment
Better than the X-Files, in my opinion.
*Let's make some LSD*
I am dosing a catepille.
You enjoy the music, do not you, Dr. Boyle ?
Fringe. Good times.
10:50 uh-oh..

Yeah honey, would you mind lol
Next to X-files Fringe is a close second.
sino8r2 what about twin peaks? That counts as sci-fi right?
Akshay Seth you’re a joke
Next to X - Files.
I really love this series, Fringe where can I find the full episode
Ketsia Sylvesta they are free on IMDb app

For the pain?
It is vicodin.
How to get the full edition on TH-cam
Is no one gonna talk about the first scene there

In case you have not noticed, I can be quite repetitive.
So true.
Did you say "SCIENCE FICTION" ????
Science fiction is quite often a misnomer. In many universes of the multiverse many of these things are possible and happening.
Scientific observations. Not evaluations or judgements.

Last Resort, Flash forward, Zero Hour, Fringe all good shows canceled ffs
Unfortunate but Inevitable. At least they didnt cancel after just 1 episode. And they were able to finish the series.
This is the Last Resort.
