- Red vs Blue, by Rooster Teeth, is full of crude humor - a lot of it. However, if you can get past that, it also has some good humor, an interesting and intricate story line, and some pretty good character development. This compilation only goes through season 13. As far as I am concerned that is the true end of the story lines. Season 14 is an anthology of independent stories, only some of which I enjoyed, and everything after that either retcons major themes from the first 13 seasons or otherwise just didn't really appeal to me.
This video is a compilation of my favorite parts of Red vs Blue. As such it is commentary and criticism of an otherwise copyrighted work and constitutes fair use.

My favorite explanation for a joke is church can’t hit anything with his gun cause director Lenard church was never in the military
Sarge seems like a shitty soldier but he immediately figured out Simmons situation just by knowing his soldiers habits and seeing something is off. And also connects dots that simms hasn't even put. He might not seem like it but he's indeed a genius soldier.

he also cares deeply, despite being tough on the outside. in "the end" (last episode of the chorus trilogy) you can see that he's the last one to enter hargroves office, showing that even though he pretends to hate them, he still puts their lives ahead of his own.
There was a line in one of the promos that Sarge was an ODST. If he was and served in combat, he's probably the most well trained Red soldier in the unit

Safe to say, pretty much nobody expected the show to evolve such an insane amount. I am so, so happy it did. Even with the quality of recent seasons...I'm gonna miss RvB quite a lot.

I just realized that many of the characters are the opposite of what they’re supposed to be. Simmons is a nerd who ends up as stupid as the rest. Caboose is stupid but has very smart moments. Church is a sniper who can’t shoot for shit. Sarge is a sargeant who can’t command his troops. Doc is a doctor who everyone dies around. Tex was said to be strong but will never truly win.
Grif is lazy but usually puts more effort into avoiding work than the work itself would actually involve

Having watched RvB since I was 12 (I’m 30 now…) my vocabulary and jokes have been so altered by this show. I love it.

RvB should have ended with epsilons goodbye. An amazingly powerful well written monologue which leaves it open to interpretation on an even more amazing shot of the team preparing for the worst. So sad they tarnished it later but its still such a great sequence

As far as I’m concerned, that end scene is where RvB ended. Next story after that was okay, and I don’t even want to watch the newest stuff, but that was just the right way to end it. Perfect send off
If it did end right then and there, with nothing after it, while I would be disappointed with a cliffhanger...I would've been satisfied, imagining how it would go.
Season 14 was okay, more interesting than anything, with some funny moments in there.
Season 15 was weird, but okay. Worth a watch for the Wash+Carolina stuff.
Season 16 was bad, second worst season in the entire show. Not worth watching normally, but it's required for season 17, and it has important Wash+Carolina stuff.
Season 17 was very good. The last good season in the series, likely for good. Fixes what season 16 broke, and also has important Wash+Carolina stuff. But also requires watching 15 and 16. 15 and 16 are worth seeing, just for 17.
Season 18 is the single worst season in all of RVB, and is an indication that RVB will never again be a good show. It's a lost cause, and the show might as well be over. 18 is not worth watching, for any reason.
God this went from hilarious to heartbreaking really fucking fast at the end
As soon as I saw them in that room I couldn't finish it. I have watched this show at least 10 times, no joke and every single time I cry on that last scene.

RVB... I have never found a show as funny to hilarious and sad to heartbreaking. this show is so interesting and emotional but still has comedy even when there is an emotional moment. It just seems like they knew what jokes they could use at certain times to get the best feeling out of the audience. I have watched so many amazing shows over the years and will continue to watch more but I don't think any will top what RVB did for my childhood.

1:08 Caboose for once is kind of right, depends on your interpretation of time and time travel but for me if time travel were to exist it would be a closed loop scenario where any jump forward or back in time has already happened and thus has no new effect, which is what they use in this show as well like how when church goes back throughout the blood gulch seasons and is actually the catalyst for many of the events that happen.
Also in the shisno trilogy time is literally a circle which is how they beat the villain

I watched RvB Zero episode 1 and I was thinking yep RvB is not the same anymore and Zero sucks.
Anyone want to watch Red vs Blue just watch Season 1 to Season 17: Singularity (don’t judge me) plus it is not the same without it’s signature humour and without Caboose once you reached Zero because it is terrible and well not the same as the oldies.
Red vs Blue was a fun show which also inspires me to play Halo because the show was based around the Game Franchise.
The ending is always so sad to watch. Best show ever.😥
its a shame we never got a happy ending, the new seasons are just dragging it on. season 14 should have been recovering church from the suit, recovering the ai that were "destroyed" in the emp and put back together and achieve the human stage that sigma was so desperate to attain

@@otisjoi They switched writers. Gaving was the writer for seasons 11-13 and he wrote the series to end. The same way Burnie had meant for it to end at s10. they jusf keep picking up after one another
