Lotta people don’t really understand Shazam/Captain Marvel. I’m talking about the OG Captain Marvel. And I know we’re looking at a general version not specific ones over the entire spectrum of the character. But what people seem to forget is that, or don’t know, he actually flew before superman. He had Marvel breath, his version of cold breath. He could vibrate his body so fast he could pass through solid objects. He is technically immortal. Zeus him self said Shazam cannot die unless he says die. His strength is infinite, his speed is infinite, his endurance and stamina are infinite. He’s clairvoyant which is like Spidey sense to the thousandth power. He knows his opponents weaknesses and strengths before he even faces off with them. he can get counsel from the gods themselves. And he has more than just strength of atlas. Or the courage of Achilles. He actually has multiple abilities from some of these people like the fighting prowess and ability of Achilles. Unfortunately things like the power of Zeus are so ill defined it’s ridiculous. And depending on the iteration, he’s learned that his transformation is based upon intent and not only how to control his lightning, but do use it as a weapon not just by calling it down by shooting it from his body. There’s a reason why Black Adam is such a feared opponent. He is the evil version of Shazam. And I believe Shazam could potentially be even more powerful. The truth is Shazam should be able to take on everyone of these, even the Sentury. Because when he utilizes his power of Zeus and potentially even magic as talked to him by the wizard Shazam, he would be unstoppable, a literal God himself.
I totally agree with you . Also as you mentioned about Shazams lighting it comes down as 12 bolts all at once not just carrying all that power elementaly but also mystical with magic.
Blue Marvel for me, he's beaten Hyperion, even fought with the beyonder he literally an alpha level threat.....but gladiator and the sentry would be next up for me
The Sentry beat Blue Marvel while weakened from Antimatter while at a time before he knew of and could control his reality warping. Even BM's creator, Kevin Grevioux, stated that he's not more powerful than Sentry because it would hurt BM's story. The Sentry is a self resurrecting, telepathic reality warper. The pinnacle of power. Also, BM didn't beat a Beyonder, he simply destabilized the physical form that the being used so that the team could communicate with him easier. It's still a powerful moment, but not as powerful as you assume.
That would be awesome, man! I'd be between Cyborg, Blue Beetle (Reyes), Booster Gold, Lex Luthor (Warsuit), Steel, Rocket Red Batman w/ Hellbat, Robot and Tech Jacket.

@@Mrikeepgettinmoneyagain he "literally" is not. He's a walking superman "plot device" metaphor. How do you people miss this obvious shit. Sentry is a big fish.... in a SMALL marvel pond. DC operates on another tier. Sentry has never one punched a multiverse out of existence, tanked a universe destroying explosion, or used heat vision to repair holes in reality, and some of those on this list scale to THAT.
@@Flopfist It is absolutely true. Superman moves worlds and stars and solar systems and shatters multiverses. Ommi man can move a mountain. Superman reacts faster than light and travel thru time. Omniman is only several times faster than sound on his feet. Superman can blink from galaxy to galaxy in an instant and fly across his megasized universe in seconds. It takes omni man WEEKS just to travel outside of THIS galaxy. Superman is far more invulnerable to injury. Omni man has been beaten, disemboweled, put in a coma, etc. and for the record, many of Superman's knockoffs are close enough to him to be a worthy enough rival. But Omni man? Or ANY viltrumite for that matter? Superman is farther ABOVE they are, than THEY are above an average human being. It's not close to being a contest, and it's zero debatable.
Can you do: brightburn vs homelander please?
Gladiator over Blue Marvel? I do not know about that.
I don't normally comment but a tier list of best Ironman clones would be awesome xo-manowar it be interesting to see how he'd compare in that list ?
That would be awesome, man!
I'd be between Cyborg, Blue Beetle (Reyes), Booster Gold, Lex Luthor (Warsuit), Steel, Rocket Red Batman w/ Hellbat, Robot and Tech Jacket.
I'm curious if the clips for each character ever get updated...some of these same clips are still being used from like 4 or 5 years ago it seems.
PRE-VIDEO comment: I believe it's Sentry. The guy is practically TOON-FORCE.
POST VIDEO: Of course, it's Sentry.
Wait, Hyperion was higher than Blue Marvel in the Strongest MCU character list POSTED FREAKING YESTERDAY, but he is BELOW Blue Marvel on this list.
They guy who created Blue Marvel, Kevin Therouix, said he was about the same power level as Thor and Hulk though.
I thought Blue Marvel beat Hyperion in a fight! Being stronger doesn’t always mean you win the fight. Maybe Blue Marvel is more skilled. He is definitely more intelligent.
You mentioned homelander but you didn’t mention Orion?
The sentry is definitely the strongest the feats he's done were insane
Sentry would body all of them.
He wishes.
@@pullcarsmelly8051he literally is an angelic level being
@@Mrikeepgettinmoneyagain he "literally" is not. He's a walking superman "plot device" metaphor. If gladiator and the shiar are superboy and the legion of superheroes, and hyperion is the superman of the JLA, then Sentry is the "I can pull a new superpower from my butthole on a whim" aspect of superman.
True
I agree with this for the most part. Good take 👌
An unpopular opinion: Aside from possibly the Sentry and Shazam, neither of these characters can beat Superman? 😂
Superman is vulnerable to magic so Shazam would win no doubt
The Sentry is Captain America on Kryptonian steroids he's a god compared to Superman
@alijamal1464 but Superman is still more intelligent and will not immediately die! And Sentry is unstable because of the Void
Icon is another good one left off
I think a lot of people underestimate how strong omniman is
He is one of the weakest superman ripoffs of all.
@@pullcarsmelly8051 not true
Kirkman's characters are weak.
@@pullcarsmelly8051 if you actually read the invincible comics you would know omniman can move planets/ destroy planets
@@pullcarsmelly8051 there's no point in arguing with someone who doesn't even know both characters lmao
You forgot Kevin Green(Prime) from Malibu comics & Ethan Edwards Marvel comics
Yeah prime time
He is barely above homelander level
I know that brightburn is a child and a bad guy but still has all the powers that superman has.
Shazam (the original Captain Marvel) was only a copy in terms of superficial abilities.
Lord Majesto / Majestic 'nuff said !
Superman has a severe weakness - kryptonite, does Shazam have any weaknesses? - Nope! He should be the gold standard.
I still refuse to call Billy Batson “Shazam”. That’s the name of the ancient wizard who gave Billy his powers. To me, he’ll always be Captain Marvel. DC was foolish to abandon the name.
How is Supreme not on this list, and #1 at that. Outrageous.
It's kinda funny that both superman's weakest and strongest rip offs are just normal humans who gained powers from a serum
u forgot,
brightburn
bizarro
utopion
saitama
metroman
Shazam is not a Superman copycat…
I'd say it's defintely arguable. Blue Marvel and Senty could both be contenders though
A lot of people just dont know about sentry...
I don’t get why people think sentry is like Superman when he’s super different and could also wipe the floor with Superman
Sentry is absolutely busted but would Surfer qualify as a Super clone...if so, it's him.
i think martian manhunter can also rank on this list.
Captain Marvel > Superman
As soon as he becomes an adult.
Billy Batson, the oldest "child" at 84 years of age.
I’ve been waiting on dis vid
Longshot vs Black Cat
Mr majestic is literally the only one who can go toe to toe with superman and win , super underrated. Superman himself said he is as strong as him and he has feats that are still valid .
blue marvel one shotted sentry
You also forgot Brightburn
I wouldn’t count Shazam as a Superman copycat because his powers work differently compared to the big boy in blue.
He was written in the 1940's as a direct copy of superman. Hell, his publisher was sued in court and lost.
I'd also argue Goku is a superman archatype aswell
And he would be #1 on this list Goku is more powerful than Sentry.
@@BARDOCK550 No, Sentry no diffs him
Ikaris, Sentry , Homelander, and Omi Man is such powerful evil version of Superman
The fact that you have Blue Marvel so low on this list negates it's validity. You literally said "Blue Marvel defeated Sentry".... Then turn around and put Sentry at 1???
It depends on which Sentry because his power level varies.
He didn't beat Sentry smfh. The Sentry left him face down, a$$ up at the end of that fight with Wonder Man stating Sentry as the winner. The Sentry was even weakened from Antimatter and was at a time before he knew of and could control his reality warping, and STILL knocked him out. Even BM's own creator, Kevin Grevioux, stated that he's not more powerful than Sentry because it would hurt his story. The Sentry is a self resurrecting, telepathic reality warper. Think about that. The facts are plain to see.
Honorable mentions: All might )my hero academia) Black Adam (DC universe) saitama (one punch man)
Did bro forget metro man existed
You could make a top 100 with how many Superman-inspired characters there are.
I was really looking forward to Supreme being brought up. I remember him punching holes in people and killing whole super hero teams.
Hyperion held 2 earths apart not 2 universes an artists flashback drawing made it look like he was holding 2 universes apart.
I doubt he would be particularly powerful, but Ultimo of the Galactic Enforcers from the Ben 10 franchise. His kryptonite is chocolate, which is highly toxic to his species though was able to recover from a does that cussed him to collapse most of his skeletal muscle mass within 24 hours.
Based on what's described here alone.... Kinda got the vibe that the Plutonian should be rated higher than The Gladiator. That said, neat list. Maybe there could be a Part 2, considering how many more Superman expies there are out there.
Like say Metro Man, The Utopian, Astro City's Samaritan and Supreme to mention a few.
You forgot Image Comic Superman Copy in Supreme.
Icon then century Icon you said it yourself is on par with og superman based on DC crossover event . It's literally cannon so that means icon can literally do more then the void superman beat hulk as well and doomsday. Superman can hold black holes so that means icon can as well I read ultra verse as a child.
I really didn't think Gladiator would be so high. I understand he is powerful but is he reality warping powerful?
Gladiator beat Hyperion
i really wanted to know whats the criteria to be considered a Superman copycat. I mean if a superhero has generic abilities like superstrength, speed, and can fly and to some extent came from a different planet, is it automically considered Superman rip-off?
Shazam is basically the Magically version of Superman. He was designed that way but DC is too old in their ways and afraid he’ll take the spotlight.
Superman time.
