I had this issue in my rtr 200 but remember you should hear tic tic sound when you press self start or else it is issue with side stand sensor or temperature sensor or the damn gear position sensor or basically 3 of them and also could be issue in killswitch itself so just don't replace relay or something like that yamaha d a best job when you put bike in ignition I yamaha bikes the cheakengine light glows and then turns off if not then there is issue so use a scanner scan bike and reach for problem and solve it nowadays bikes wairing is easy to repair

I don’t understand why ns200 nowadays are facing so many issues. I have 2018 ns 200 and I haven’t faced any yet. Is this because engine norms that has been changed throughout the years ??? Or due to modifications?? Not just that even my friend has ns200 bs4 but never faced such issues. Can someone shed some light on this.
Same issue happened with me later it went proper after i interchanged rediator fuse and self fuse. I went to showroom he said may be the fuse are slightly loose so it won’t be such a problem. I have warranty of my bike till this month end but there is no problem now
The new gen bs6 variants has this ECU thing which at times gets some glitch and as a result the bike won't start later. TBH you can go the nearest service centre to find what exactly is this problem...and sort it from then.
