I work for Enterprise and we have a TON of these in our fleet. As much as people like to make fun of them, I definitely get why they exist and why the V6 Chargers make up more than 75% of the Charger sales (coming from someone that got drive a few Hemi Chargers). The point of the V6 Chargers is to be a highway crusier and a commuter for longer drives without needing 400hp+. 300HP and 6 sec 0-60 is not awful, I still manage to have fun with these V6 Chargers. Also, don't forget that the AWD is only available in the v6 trims, so if you live in a place where it snows, the v6 is really the only option for you.
They did make a V8 Charger R/T model with AWD for sale around early 2010s. They're quite rare however, and later canned that version a few years later.

I have a 2019 GT and have never once felt imposter syndrome. The V6 is practical. I'm not a racecar driver, nor are 99% of Charger owners regardless of the model they buy. The imposter syndrome thing sounds way more like an insecurity issue and those who feel it should probably work on themselves rather than just upgrading their car.
I've owned A Charger Scat Pack and a Charger GT. The GT makes a lot more sense. All of the trims GT and above look the same. My Scat Pack and GT had the same transmission and the same tires. The only difference is the engine and you pay a heavy price for power you largely cannot use. In fact, if excessive speed is your game, you can get a Tesla Model 3 Performance for less money than a V8 Charger and it's a Hellcat killer.
As a software engineer, I was in search of a powerful and sporty car that would be suitable for my daily commute to and from the office. After thorough research, I found that a car equipped with a V6 engine would be a great choice. V6 engines offer a perfect balance of strength, performance, and fuel efficiency, which aligns perfectly with my needs. Opting for a V8 engine, which is typically more powerful, is unnecessary for me as I won't be using the car for racing purposes. Additionally, the difference in horsepower between the V6 and V8 engines is not significant enough to justify the additional power for my daily usage or to spend more money
If you want one. OWN IT! embrace it! Most v6 muscle car owners have the same responses " gets great mpg" " I don't wanna go fast" " it's fast enough for me" " I can get a supercharger or turbos and be faster than v8" " it's all I can afford" ok I get the last one but it's gotta stop. I’m 19 about 6 months to 20 and i always wanted a charger but I feel like a v8 for me would only fuck me over right now. Yes I would love the V8 but my insurance goes up with it being v8. It’s a big price difference and I doubt I’ll be able to get a 50k dollar loan for an RT or skat. But I can maneuver the GTs pricing.
Not to mention. I have never drove RWD because of my city. It’s always changing weather. And I feel like RWD is just alot less safe than AWD and the V6 is the only AWD
They do look aggressive, I saw one pull beside me ( I have a cammed G8 GT ), and I was excited to race and he was like nah bro it’s a V6. I didn’t realize the GT didn’t have a Hemi. I thought only SXTs were V6s… oh well.
I really like this specific trim/engine combo for a charger/300. while nothing can beat a hemi in these things, for the average person the v6 does just fine.
The Pentastar 3.6 is a good engine. It makes very respectable power and it's been in production for so long that all of the bugs have been worked out. For commuting the 3.6 is perfectly adequate even in a heavier vehicle like a Grand Cherokee.
To say “there are much better V6 sedans out there” then reference the Q50 and then the Blackwing seemed odd. They’re not even in the same class or price ranges.
For me I own the older v6 sxt charger from 2007 with an aftermarket intake, exhaust, hood, and grill. As to why, it was a gift along with modifications! It was passed down in my family from brother to mother and now to me. I know it isn't a v8 but I feel sentimental to it as it was there for me since I was in middle school. After I successfully joined the military my mother gave to me unprompted and it was not in the best shape nor the worst. At first I felt intimidated by it since at the time I did not have a license and it looked unwieldly. Steadily, I grew attached to it, cleaning it up, learning about vehicle maintenance, and ultimately my time with it is what got me into cars and motorcycles. I'm pretty proud to have it as my partner in crime, and while I may not be rich, I hope I can keep it running for as long as I can.
Same story with my first car. A Black 1989 Honda Accord lx-i 5spd manual. My dad bought it for my mom in 1988. I still own it and driven it from NC to LA and back twice. It now has 648k still on the same motor and transmission. Still driving it everyday and never left me stranded.
@ and? A nitrous 3.6 will blow the doors off a stock 305 camaro. No point in comparing them after modifications. I’m just saying they occupy the same space. They’re the slow, low powered, muscle car. A V6 charger and 305 camaro are the just the 80’s and 2010’s version of each other.
In November 2017, I bought a V6 Blacktop Charger 2018, because there was a huge difference in price between the V6 and V8, here in Puerto Rico. I’m talking a 17K difference. Still, the V6 was enjoyable. It was comfortable and convenient, it gave 30mpg in the highway, which was great, cause I worked 26 miles from home. It was all black with tinted windows and it looked great. It had more power than my previous lumina, my 4.7L Tundra and my Celica, so it was the fastest I ever had. It had enough power to be quick and I ran it to a 100 mph in a couple occasions, so I enjoyed a lot. Then, someone hit my door where the “C” shape was and it never looked the same, even when I fixed it. I loved that car. Then I had a chance in November 2019, to buy a new V8 Daytona in Triple Nickel for MSRP, only 7.5 K more than the previous V6, and my payment went up only 4$😂. So I jumped to it, and I loved it, it’s just great, a big difference. Still, i don’t regret having the V6, as a starter Mopar. I beat the heck out of it and made all the mistakes on it. I’d say, if money is not an issue, go for the V8. There was the itch you talked about, but the V6 experience was not bad for me. Now I’m enjoying the V8. 😎⚓️
First charger I owned was a 2010 sxt 3.5. I loved everything about the car, the look, the feel, but always felt it just didn't have enough power... told my self my next car would be a v8 charger. Last year I had the choice between a 2018 rt and a 2021 gt. After driving the gt once I was in love idk if its the extra 50hp compared to the 2010 or the 8 speed transmission but no part of me felt like it was "slow" unlike I did in my 2010 v6... yes the 2018 rt still felt quicker but fir the reliability of the 3.6 and gas economy I couldn't turn the gt down. Not to mention the body style and 20 " rims are to sexy. Don't listen to this guy... if you are looking for a car that will turn heads and be able to still run down 90% of other daily driving cars on the road, while being a very reliable engine. I highly recommend the gt
I bought the GT Hemi-Orange package about a month ago, and i love the car even though it's a V6. Reasons why i didn't get the 8...1: the dealership wanted $12000 more for the 8, I couldn't afford it and i will not buy used. 2: I can't see having all that horsepower just to sit in traffic on the highway and pretty much just wasting gas. 3: A friend of mine has a Magnum with an 8, and doesn't hardly drive it bc he has to fill the tank every couple days. Not to mention that they charge you a "gas guzzler" tax when you buy the car, and also as high as gas prices are now a days, i would rather save on gas too. It's got some pretty good get up and go for a 6 though, even though it may not be as fast, or pickup as much as an 8 would.
I have the V6 AWD Challenger and I bought it because I live in the Windy City. Snow was my major deciding factor. I wanted a daily driver but actually can be driven daily. If I want more speed, and the way cars are heading, I'll get either another brand with more HP or Electric.
The only reason to get the V6 in this generation is because you can't get AWD with the V8. You could on the previous refresh, but not this model. Otherwise I agree with every single point you made in this video
The Pentastar 3.6 is a good engine. It makes respectable power and has been in production for so long that they've gotten the bugs worked out. Full-size cars are almost dead but the Charger is for when you want to look sporty with your space. Yeah, the V6 GT is writing checks its engine can't cash but the 3.6 is a good commuter engine and not everyone wants a snarling V8 all the time. The old lady down the street from me has a V6 Charger. Why would you ever turn the steering wheel paddles off though? Why is that even an option? I love Dodge's racetrack taillights (when they work). I'm surprised when I remember that the 300 is still in production. Once everyone had gotten the old-school gangster car look out of their systems it's become the choice rental car upgrade.
Yeah I agree. the Pentastar has always been a great engine. With Dodge products you have to take special care of them, not just with oil and filter changes, but with respect. Dodge/ Chrysler products cant take abuse like Toyotas and Hondas. As long as you respect your Mopar it will respect you just as long as a Toyota or Honda.
300 HP. In 2005 that was Mustang V8 power. I'll take an understressed naturally aspirated V6 with 300HP any day over a highly stressed 2.0 turbo that's going to run hotter, break faster, and cost more to repair.
The V6 versions of these and Altimas are red flags if seen on the road. Both seem to be popular with credit challenged people and rental fleets with little disregard to road rules, others, and maybe even themselves.
I’m 23 and just purchased exactly one like this, it has all I needed. Takes me to the office, school, drive trips and anywhere I want to. I don’t look for racing trophies or racing at every single light stop that’s why it’s a good car for me. I’ll recommend thinking on getting a car that meets your needs
i own a 3.7L V6 2014 Ford mustang and i got it cuz it makes roughly the same amount of power as the 3 valve V8 from 05-09 and i wanted a simple Boulevard cruiser i didn't want or need some 400/500 + SUPER CAR KILLER i just wanted a Retro looking American boulevard cruiser. i would've gotten a 02-05 thunderbird if it wasn't for it's jaguar Engine that will cost me a fortune to fix if it breaks.
I really like this car👍👍. Rented am SE out in California and it was such a good car. More than enough power on the highways, smooth ride quality and even smoked a newer BMW 340 from the SF Bay bridge on my way to the airport. Averaged 22mpg too. Just worry about long term reliability if I ever got this car
I currently have a 2014 dodge charger RT max all-wheel-drive since new. I have kept that because they did not offer all wheel drive with a V-8 after 2014 and I live in Iowa and it snows a lot here. The only reason I am getting rid of it as I have never had a problem with it is because this is the last year for charger (2023) and it is the car that my wife drives and she loves them. I had to order the V-6 to keep the all-wheel-drive. So the GT it is for me. If they offered the V8 and all-wheel-drive, I would have it again. She don’t care about the engine anyway and it’s less gas I have to pay for I guess.
i raced my friend that has a v6 charger in my 2001 Cadillac deville. my car has v8 roughly 250 hp and still beat him and both cars weight about the same… dodge should’ve just given it a 4.6 litre v8 instead of the v6
You should look into a tune from Northstar Performance, the stock tuning on the Northstars is very very tame (I guess so they wouldn't scare old people).... You can get like a 75hp increase just from a tune on a later (quad VVT) Northstar
Well I don't have a V6 anymore but during 2020 I was financing 2 dodge challengers. I had a 2011 V6 and a 2013 srt8 V8. I originally got the V6 first because it had a exterior colors that I like. It was painted gloss black with silver racing stripes. It had 75,000 original miles and I had a ok financial plan from a Chevy dealership. I got the V6 for several reasons. First reason was because of the price and payment plan. Second reason was because I wasn't interested in fast performance I was more into getting more mpg and still looking cool. I did add some performance parts to help with performance and better acceleration. In the end I was still driving a economy sports car and not a true muscle car. Then during the pandemic I went nuts found a challenger srt8 with 85k miles and in good shape. It was in a couple of accidents from the Carfax report but the used car lot had the car at a attractive price and payment plan that I could afford. And for a whole year and a half I had 2 different challengers. Finally in 2022 I got rid of the V6 Challenger and I daily drive the srt8.
@@xFactoryUSA On top of him saying something something better gas mileage.......these cars are 4,500lbs lol there IS no "I bought the V6 for better fuel economy, I crunched the number and will save $24 a year"

Looks good at least. AWD would have been an awesome option on the 6.4L to make its power actually usable for once. Unfortunately, in typical Dodge style they were too cheap to re-engineer an AWD option able to handle the torque, so that leaves us with an underwhelming V-6 that only gets slightly less $hitty fuel economy instead of good fuel economy.
@@Swag_K1RBY Yeah, I remember that. Base hemi that was no quicker than a v-6 Camaro so never understood the point. A Scatty or Hell-Pig would be awesome w/ AWD to get that power down.
In Canada this is 38k for 2022 used with barley any kms Honestly I fell in love with this car AWD V6 I can't find anything with this specs full package 2022 for 38k This is nicest looking sedan at least for me it's like a car that you can keep for long time without aging Not to mention new cars coming out now all look so blend and so modern they age quick in 2 or 3 years or 4 years These designs are the type when new cars come out you won't regret it it will always look modern and new and just unique When I buy a car I just don't go for the tech I go for the outside design and engine some cars just age well For example I have 2015 Jetta we bought new at the time still looks good doesn't age badly I put 220k km on it and head gasket went and I changed the whole engine with everything for like 1800 and I kept same car and I'll be driving it for another hopefully 5 to 7 years used engine with 80k km was like 800 or 1000 my mechanic installed it all for 1800 total with engine Head gasket and water pump were more expensive then buying whole engine and engine came with everything Now never owned American cars only one owned was a Pontiac 20 years ago grand am and was garbage issues none stop Now I know that was 20 years ago and Pontiacs weren't reliable But I still don't know how these cars are I'm sure they are much better in 2023 and 2024 now days If anyone owned one over a year or 2 and can tell me about comfort and reliability plz let me know Also plz tell me about wind noise so comfort wind noise is somewhat things I look at as well I hate wind noise in my Jetta I can hear road engine specially when im on the highway horrible I prefer this over V8 because I can get a AWD which is more then enough for V6 in Canada when snows hard I can use the AWD will be nice with nice winter tires even though doesn't snow much like before but when snows bad it's there for safety nice to have Anyways I talked too much lol if anyone can give me an advice about these let me know I do not need a V8 because I live in Toronto and it's all traffic unless people wanna show off also gas no all wheel drive So this v6 is most practical for most people specially the AWD one Anyways sometimes this year hopefully I wanna save money buy cash as financing here it's a rip off with high interest and fees and bs I rather save money buy it cash and get a nice deal I can't say enough about this car I fell in love with it seen it on the road I wanna own it so badly If I buy one I'm definitely keeping it for 7 years if it lasts or more I don't think I'll get bored of this design and car And if people wanna upgrade tech there is tons of Chinese screens for super cheap and look much better then new cars with all options and apple car play and android auto so that's an option I usually aren't worried about the tech as I can always upgrade for 200 or 300 bucks for something modern and way nicer after market Thanks for reading and have a good day
There are a ton of V6 sedans out there, but to me, this one is the sexiest looking. I don't care if it goes fast or not, it looks good. Want a hemi or a scat? Happily go spend $45-70k
People get the V6 because of the Awd and winters it makes for a better daily better on gas , cheaper on insurance yes the V8 is better but the V6 still is fun enough for most people
Working on getting me a GT within the next couple months, im way too excited this, this is my dream car i dont car about that V6 bs im not tryna race nobody and even if i had a damn Hellcat i wouldn’t be doing all that fr personally.. But man i cant wait!
I’m definitely looking at the Charger GT w/AWD. I had a couple of RWD models as rentals and they are a lot of fun. AWD will a better option for me here in the Chicago area lol.
No, my first car was a 01 monte carlo ss 3.8L engine, second car 2010 charger sxt 3.5L high output engine. I want something different now. Either the rt or scat pack. In my 13 years of driving V6's i want to try V8 now.
I rented a car and didnt know what its going to be and was a little bit afraid of getting a corolla or smth (no offense), so they gave me the v6 model. I never drove a muscle car bevor and really like it so far because im driving in America the first time and its like enjoying americas streets like u are supposed to, but still its not that scary or smth. It sounds great, the interior and Interface, quality of steering wheel and the driving experience itself are really great and it looks just mean. I get why the v8 fits a dodge much better, but for a rental…. Love it.
Many people here on this video saying they don't need the extra power, or it's not much more have likely never driven a V8 Charger or vehicle. I had no hate for V6 cars or even this Charger with the Pentastar but he is right, get a V8 or you will regret it if you ever feel the power of the V8 compared to the V6. HP is one thing but torque is another and at almost 400lb feet on the V8 it makes a huge difference in pulling that weight around.
Just bought one! turned down chargers in the past even though it was my favorite car that i could practically within my budget own... and well. its a heck of a lot better than my doddge fart that i traded it in for haha. i love it the 2022 v6. whats a v8? exactly... im the perfect owner for this car. I don't know what im missing or "lacking" im a 31 yr old chick who wanted a charger and got one. I grew up driving my dads Mustang with my permit... it felt like driving a toy tonka heavy.. idk. and this feels similar to his 2007 or so green shiny mustang when i was 15. the weight and controls at least... I have a lot to say about my new charger.. I love ittttt It sounds nice when I accelerate and sounds beefy enough. Im scared for winter snow driving.. good thing im by a highway.. I named it Elvis Presley and Elvis and I were made for each other. To me, the v6 is the coolest thing ever! My car has GT on the back of it?! like neat! I have a nice thing! Im not DE badging it nor pretending to be the v8 that i didn't even go out looking for. I went looking for a charger and i got one. Great video! thanks! sry for sloppy grammar yikes
I’m 22 living in Utah. I’ve owned 5 cars since I was 17 (yes a car a year)😂. I want a v6 gt because I think having awd is the most important part for where I live. Utah gets a lot of snow and I’ve owned an rt rwd before. It’s not fun in the snow other than drifting lol. I would consider a v8 if it came with awd, but it doesn’t and sadly out of the 5 cars I have owned this gt would be the fastest 😂😂😂 the price isn’t a factor it’s more or so the practicality, for me.
I found my 2019 gt with 33k miles for $19k sounds insane but I’ve had it for two years and carfax was clean it used to be a rental from enterprise. Got it at a dodge dealer in van nuys. Definitely a heavy car and it’s peppy but eventually I’ll trade it
Looks as sweet as a Buy Here Pay Here front plate or advertisement plastered at the top of the rear window, take that shit off, it's only purpose was to prevent scratches during shipping.
How dare you say it has a Dodge Journey engine. Lmbo! I have a 22 GT and it is fast enough and fuel economic enough for me. I don't need a race car to drive to work everyday ijs lol
I have a GT 2021 Charger this is my first Dodge Charger so I didn’t want the Base model 😂 so I brought the GT it’s a great vehicle and all but I’m thinking about test driving a RT or Scat just to see if I’m missing out on something special
I had a 2019 Scat Pack and it has more power than you can use if you drive like a sane person. It also gets terrible gas mileage, you have to run premium gas in it and the insurance is high. The GT looks almost exactly like the Scat Pack except without the middle school cartoon character on the back. Sure, you're missing out on some speed, but it's not worth anywhere near the difference in price.
It’s AWD, gets 30 MPG highway, and has a ton of room inside. It’s not slow, anything around 5.7-6.2 seconds to 60 is pretty good. I think Zach here had negative thoughts going into it. These are a good used buy.
I mean ppl always forget that not everyone can afford V8 especially with how old someone is credit score and insurance. Ill be getting a V6 especially cuz i have a kid no reason to go top speeds.
Kinda getting tired of hearing this trope about " DO NOT BUY V6 BUY V8" - The V6 Charger is faster than chargers and mustangs of the past, you can get one in AWD and with winter tires its a monster on canadian roads. Gas mileage is also attractive and generally speaking its a FAST car, the only people that say it isn't fast are just fanboys and elitists typical known to compete in dink measuring contests. Nobody cares, drive what you like. The V6 Charger is a great value for the money and majority of the people couldn't tell the difference between the 6 or the 8
Of all time? The Alfa Romeo Busso V6! It came in cars like the Alfetta GTV6, Milano (75) and then the modern day Alfas like the (unfortunately front wheel drive) 147 GTA, 156, 166 and GT.
But then again you keep saying you don’t belong, the key word being YOU, it’s your opinion at the end of the day. You can always upgrade your car as you prefer
I normally like these review by shooting cars but this was the worse. Bashing v6 cars, calling the color white ‘out there’. -it’s white, every car comes in white. Also, there is nothing wrong with getting a nice car with a low hp engine. Not everyone wants zoom plus these cars help the dealers make money. For a channel that reviews old and economic cars, I didn’t expect a ‘feeling less than’ review
Most people shouldn't have the v8 tbh. A lot of them get crashed because of people not knowing how to drive that much HP and even if they don't crash them they're jerks on the road.
The car is 10 years past its prime. TEN years. Even then, it was past its prime. I don't want to hate these cars, but I can't help it. It isn't just the car that's hatable - the stereotypical drivers are just insufferable.

Ah yes the V6 charger, the modern day 305 Camaro
Don't ever compare a charger to a camaro. A 305 tuned port will blow a 3.6 off the road
Exactly money is no excuse to not get a Demon.
@@bracedgod4505 Money is the exact excuse to not get a demon tho🤦🏽♂️😂
They did offer AWD on the 5.7 in this generation but, it only comes on the Police Package with the 5 speed auto tho.
@@MandusahRamirez I was being sarcastic lol. Lotta car people act like we got unlimited wallets.
Theres a 50% chance they are stolen
They drive em like hellcats too and always seem to wanna play daredevil on expressways ete
@@666cemetaryslut 50% chance theyre stolen? lol go back to your hole

Back in the 90s. Dude u wasnt even born in the 90s i cant stand this lardo
i own a 3.7L V6 2014 Ford mustang and i got it cuz it makes roughly the same amount of power as the 3 valve V8 from 05-09 and i wanted a simple Boulevard cruiser i didn't want or need some 400/500 + SUPER CAR KILLER i just wanted a Retro looking American boulevard cruiser. i would've gotten a 02-05 thunderbird if it wasn't for it's jaguar Engine that will cost me a fortune to fix if it breaks.
The 3.7 is actually a respectable platform in my opinion compared to these 3.6 Mopar Engines
Summary: He financed something for other to look at, no sound, no excitement for him … ouch
@@xFactoryUSA Thanks for shortening my 3 years down to just one sentence. 👍
@@xFactoryUSA On top of him saying something something better gas mileage.......these cars are 4,500lbs lol there IS no "I bought the V6 for better fuel economy, I crunched the number and will save $24 a year"
The 3.6 pentastar with the 8 speed transmission is the best combo for great mpg. I used to get 32mpg on the Highway . Acceleration was darn good too.
There is nothing wrong with a V6 charger I'll take one any day
As a v6 owner, FYI v6 are SLOW, WEAK, BABY ENGINES.
I'm a valet and have driven many V8, there's no comparison.
Save your money, and get yourself a BIG BOY V8!
@@User_92020v6 are not fast but not slow either it has plenty of power and can beat the majority you see out there
Looks good at least.
They actually did put AWD in the r/t like a decade ago unfortunately nobody bought it
@@Swag_K1RBY Yeah, I remember that. Base hemi that was no quicker than a v-6 Camaro so never understood the point. A Scatty or Hell-Pig would be awesome w/ AWD to get that power down.
These things are just asking to get ticketed in some small hick town…. Personal experience
In Canada this is 38k for 2022 used with barley any kms
Honestly I fell in love with this car AWD V6 I can't find anything with this specs full package 2022 for 38k
This is nicest looking sedan at least for me it's like a car that you can keep for long time without aging
Not to mention new cars coming out now all look so blend and so modern they age quick in 2 or 3 years or 4 years
These designs are the type when new cars come out you won't regret it it will always look modern and new and just unique
When I buy a car I just don't go for the tech I go for the outside design and engine some cars just age well
For example I have 2015 Jetta we bought new at the time still looks good doesn't age badly
I put 220k km on it and head gasket went and I changed the whole engine with everything for like 1800 and I kept same car and I'll be driving it for another hopefully 5 to 7 years used engine with 80k km was like 800 or 1000 my mechanic installed it all for 1800 total with engine
Head gasket and water pump were more expensive then buying whole engine and engine came with everything
Now never owned American cars only one owned was a Pontiac 20 years ago grand am and was garbage issues none stop
Now I know that was 20 years ago and Pontiacs weren't reliable
But I still don't know how these cars are I'm sure they are much better in 2023 and 2024 now days
If anyone owned one over a year or 2 and can tell me about comfort and reliability plz let me know
Also plz tell me about wind noise so comfort wind noise is somewhat things I look at as well I hate wind noise in my Jetta I can hear road engine specially when im on the highway horrible
I prefer this over V8 because I can get a AWD which is more then enough for V6 in Canada when snows hard I can use the AWD will be nice with nice winter tires even though doesn't snow much like before but when snows bad it's there for safety nice to have
Anyways I talked too much lol if anyone can give me an advice about these let me know
I do not need a V8 because I live in Toronto and it's all traffic unless people wanna show off also gas no all wheel drive
So this v6 is most practical for most people specially the AWD one
Anyways sometimes this year hopefully I wanna save money buy cash as financing here it's a rip off with high interest and fees and bs
I rather save money buy it cash and get a nice deal
I can't say enough about this car I fell in love with it seen it on the road I wanna own it so badly
If I buy one I'm definitely keeping it for 7 years if it lasts or more I don't think I'll get bored of this design and car
And if people wanna upgrade tech there is tons of Chinese screens for super cheap and look much better then new cars with all options and apple car play and android auto so that's an option I usually aren't worried about the tech as I can always upgrade for 200 or 300 bucks for something modern and way nicer after market
Thanks for reading and have a good day
I reviewed a 3OO S with that engine and wasn’t impressed either. Check it out if you wish.
There are a ton of V6 sedans out there, but to me, this one is the sexiest looking. I don't care if it goes fast or not, it looks good. Want a hemi or a scat? Happily go spend $45-70k
this guy. cold take after cold take, panders to what the internet thinks car enthusiasts like
I bet 100% of Charger GT owners are still alive and have their Drivers Licenses intact, I like the car at least they look the part 😅
People get the V6 because of the Awd and winters it makes for a better daily better on gas , cheaper on insurance yes the V8 is better but the V6 still is fun enough for most people
I believe their transmissions got better when they started buying them from ZF instead of making them.
Working on getting me a GT within the next couple months, im way too excited this, this is my dream car i dont car about that V6 bs im not tryna race nobody and even if i had a damn Hellcat i wouldn’t be doing all that fr personally.. But man i cant wait!
I must hurry up and buy this car now Zack.
I’m definitely looking at the Charger GT w/AWD. I had a couple of RWD models as rentals and they are a lot of fun. AWD will a better option for me here in the Chicago area lol.
I bought one for my 16 year old daughter. She likes the V6, cheaper insurance and less worry.
No, my first car was a 01 monte carlo ss 3.8L engine, second car 2010 charger sxt 3.5L high output engine.
I want something different now. Either the rt or scat pack. In my 13 years of driving V6's i want to try V8 now.
Nothing wrong with the V6. Most police fleets use the V6 engines, so you know they're relable, and can keep up with criminals.
Love it.
Sorry, I heard the Chrysler 200 had the option for a V6, minivan engine tho it is, and I was distracted for the rest of the video.
Im strongly considering buying a charger. I need awd but don’t wanna miss out on a v8s power. Any suggestions?
“Back in the 90s…”. Were you even alive?😂😂😂
Not like you're gonna do anything with it anyway.

I dig the banana guards
2:57 Again, these gauges, very angry. They're red, they're PISSED OFF! And I like that ambiance. 🤣🤣🤣
I have a GT with a V6 too, except mine has 2 turbos on it and isn't a charger.
Definitely a heavy car and it’s peppy but eventually I’ll trade it
Dude that's where I bought my 2023 charger GT this past Sunday LOL
no, I like that yellow stripe bumper, its does doesn't looks cool, it's looks sweet 😂
Looks as sweet as a Buy Here Pay Here front plate or advertisement plastered at the top of the rear window, take that shit off, it's only purpose was to prevent scratches during shipping.
It's a shame the 392's are marked up for 23. A black 392 wide body for me.👍
How dare you say it has a Dodge Journey engine. Lmbo! I have a 22 GT and it is fast enough and fuel economic enough for me. I don't need a race car to drive to work everyday ijs lol
The media screen is comical, with missing icons from the bottom right. They could have put two of anything, a dodge logo, something!
Good description of this car. " A sheep in Wolves clothing " 😄
Design in Detroit built in Canada
The transmission is not a stellantis or chrysler product it's a ZF transmission
That’s crazy my niece just rented this exact same one and she really didn’t like it.
i like the hellcat. they're start making more hellcat versions.
As a mom this is perfect for me. So I got one 💕
I'm not sure why anyone would want a V6, but they must exist for a reason.
Ill be getting a V6 especially cuz i have a kid no reason to go top speeds.
wait the charger had a v6 version? I thought it was just the musstang
The V6 Charger is a great value for the money and majority of the people couldn't tell the difference between the 6 or the 8
This trim is awesome. I don't care for v8.
Only makes since with awd
What are some better v6s
The genesis 3.8 coupe is great, Nissan 370z, Infiniti Q50, Cadillacs CT5
Of all time? The Alfa Romeo Busso V6! It came in cars like the Alfetta GTV6, Milano (75) and then the modern day Alfas like the (unfortunately front wheel drive) 147 GTA, 156, 166 and GT.
I don’t agree with not buying one just because you’ll get made fun of for it. If you want one, buy one. Screw everyone else’s opinion
Exactly.. because when your number is called like everyone's will at some point, a person's opinion on everything becomes null and void.
u could just put a new v8 engine in it
But then again you keep saying you don’t belong, the key word being YOU, it’s your opinion at the end of the day. You can always upgrade your car as you prefer
iTS nOT a V8 😱

I normally like these review by shooting cars but this was the worse. Bashing v6 cars, calling the color white ‘out there’. -it’s white, every car comes in white. Also, there is nothing wrong with getting a nice car with a low hp engine. Not everyone wants zoom plus these cars help the dealers make money. Zack, for a car reviewer, your review of 2023 Charger GT is very biased. You got to be more objective and impartial. ✌️
Most people shouldn't have the v8 tbh. A lot of them get crashed because of people not knowing how to drive that much HP and even if they don't crash them they're jerks on the road.
