Great video as usual and a happy belated Birthday. One thought, if you had a 12v heated blanket versus the 120v blanket, the Vatid 600w would probably go a lot longer. That would be an interesting test. I still miss the Landcruiser

Good point and thanks! This was my first time ever using an electric blanket but I need to do more research on them and plus it was free lol. My dad still has an 80 that he doesn’t use…. might incorporate it more on the channel🧐

Turn the heat down. Add more blankets. Just a thought. Bet it makes it all night.

Besides blanket, what else needs to be charged by your portable power station?

I love Texans. Up in Canada we camp below freezing with nothing more than a sleeping bag.
Unfortunately for cold weather your setup is no good. You can't allow cold air to get underneath your tent. That being said, an electric blanket is the perfect choice. Next time turn it 1/2 way and put it beneath your body (heat rises). Then put a blanket on top to trap that heat.

Happy Birthday! Nice video. I'veing always been skeptical about using 12 volt electric blankets but maybe they're something to seriously consider. It's going to be about 20 below here tonight. About a 2 blanket night?

First Happy Birthday, man I was born and raised in CC. I went to trade school in Laramie WY in 02/03, after graduating I came back down in 04 the year it snowed around Christmas. I was out driving in it and checking to see if family and friends had everything thing they needed if it got "bad". I couldn't count the number of cops that TRY TO RUN ME OFF THE ROAD, and screaming it's to much snow on the ground to be driving (3" deep at the time). After telling them I had just moved back from WY and that bad isn't till the drifts are over the roof of my truck they stop trying to F'ck with me. I did all this in a 2WD 3Slow Ranger haha, last years freeze was easy peezy with the 2010 4x4 Tundra.
I swear the people down here freak out about every weather event other than 115*F hahaha.

Haha yep people down here will have a meltdown with the weather. I will say that we have some terrible drivers and I would want to stay away from them lol

Thanks for the video I was wondering how well the electric blankets work with the power stations. Any plan to test a longer electric blanket?

Thanks Jake! If this video gets more feedback regarding power blankets, I could buy some for testing purposes👌🏼

The specs do not indicate the max AMPS on the DC input. You can charge with the USB-C and the DC input jack at the same time. The AC jacks will not work while charging.

They’re made short so you can sleep on top of it and you put a blanket on top of you to keep the heat in

Honestly imo I think the price is to high, you only get two 110 plugs and it's only 518wh. The bluetti 700w you get 4 110 outlets 537wh for 30 more.

For the life of me I can’t understand why you didn’t sleep on the electric blanket, turn it down and add blankets on top to sleep the whole night.

It’s 5 degree and I will think about it at 0* but your using at 41 degree that like middle easter. Desert And your using a tent with blanket seriously I would be out on the tree with mosquito 🦟 net
