Welcome back to BOAB Models - today we're unboxing the newly re-released Fiat 500f in 1/24 scale from Tamiya. This kit has a great range of options including 2 sets of livery decals.
The Fiat 500 (Italian: Cinquecento) is an economy / city car that was manufactured and marketed by Fiat Automobiles from 1957 until 1975. It was sold as a two-door semi-convertible or saloon car and as a three-door panel van or estate car.

Would you use the decals or go for a classic look?
I'd probably use the Italian stripes, as I quite liked the suggested ivory scheme.

Thanks, Richard. These were going for quite a bit on eBay before Tamiya reissued them. I started it last week and I will probably finish it soon.
Nice unboxing there Thomas, cool kit and interesting story about the real 500. Nice comparison with the Mini too, never thought the 500 was that much smaller compared to it!
Yeah, I've not had much of a chance to compare them either. You don't see the original 500 on the road much in the UK. The new one however is everywhere
Great unboxing! I'm actually happy Tamiya re-released this kit, as I didn't get it the first time around, and it's a beautiful little car. The expanded decal sheet is a good surprise also.
Yeah, that decal sheet would be tiny without the extras!
It's a great addition to the range as it's such an iconic car.

I just found out Tamiya are also reissuing the Abarth 695 version of this kit. I wish I'd realized that before doing this video as I would have mentioned it!
@@BOABModels haha, that’s always the way isn’t it :) love to see you do the 1/12th version, Italeri I think, although I believe the scale suspension is a bit weak to support it, model on
