Remember drug addiction is a disease they can't help themselves. I had the same experience with the Holy Spirit. When He came I felt static from my head flow down my body. My hair pricked up. Then I felt Him enter my body.
Awesome testimony Zac. I have a few questions for you. Does the speaking in a demonic language/tongues, have the same manifestation as the Kundalini Yoga spirit? Does the modern Charismatic church speaking in tongues have the same repetitious syllables and babble as the demonic tongues? Do they sound the same? Can you interpret them? I have witnessed and see the manifestations of all three being exactly the same.
I was in the new age occult. I manifested the snake demon on the bed and I moved my body like a snake and hissed and spoke in the demonic tongue like the snake. Imagine Harry Potter when the snake was at the zoo I believe. It's a bunch of hissing, sssss sounds. (By the way, the writer for Harry Potter was automatic writing when she wrote the series.) I am a Charismatic now, although I call myself as having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and Not a Christian. I speak in tongues. It sounds nowhere like the demonic tongue I spoke on the bed. The devil lacks creativity and only copies God. Just as there is a Holy Spirit tongue (God's tongue), there is demonic tongue imitated by the devil. The Holy Spirit does speak through me and sometimes it does sound like syllables and babbles. Some times I ask the Holy Spirit to slow down and then it sounds like an unknown language. Plus, if you're fearful just ask God to remove any demonic tongue so you're only left with the Holy Spirit tongue. God shall not be one that He shall lie and if you ask the Father for bread, He won't give you a stone. Some people can interpret Holy Spirit tongue. I cannot. God gives His children different gifts. But if a child really wants to be able to interpret tongues, he can pray to the Father and ask. The kundalini demon is the Eastern practice demon. Maybe you're from the new age like me. Yoga is yoking with the demons and I used to belly dance and I don't do that anymore. I cannot answer whether that tongue is the same, I can only testify to my experience of having that new age snake demon that hissed, mocked Jesus, said she hates God, and laughed like a maniac. Matt, I can tell you with complete confidence that speaking an unknown tongue by the Holy Spirit is real and it’s from God; and speaking demonic tongues is real and it’s from the devil; and the two are completely separate. The Pentecostal practice of speaking in tongues is absolutely not demonic. We could have a chat about how often the “babbling” style of speaking in tongues is actually *authentic* tongues, but in general people who genuinely speak in unknown tongues in church are doing that by the Holy Spirit. Like the other person commenting here said, demonic tongues is very hissy, sounds like a snake. The first word I got in demonic tongues sounded a lot like the word “Nosferatu” (wasn’t that word, just sounded similar). When I’ve spoken in tongues by the Holy Spirit though, it was given to me by God. One time was when I was experiencing horrendous demonic attacks, this was about 3 years after I was saved. I was praying, praying, begging God to help me and at one point the Holy Spirit said “Shhhhh… let me talk now” (it was almost comical the way He said it) and He gave me one word. As soon as I said the word He gave me a whole bunch of other words in a full paragraph that streamed out of my mouth like fire, drove the demons away completely and left me with that peace that surpasses understanding. So, I respect that you have your beliefs about tongues, but I can tell you definitively that the people who genuinely speak unknown languages are doing so with authority from God.

I did write a lengthily reply to you about my experience, but it was not there the next day. I was also attacked spiritually, more than I anticipated, when I replied. Jesus also says in Matthew 6:7 "And when you pray do NOT babble on like the pagan's do.."

Those very demons that got a person into additions such as drugs, porn, new age, etc. will end up tormenting that person's soul in hell. That's the jist of it. Anything of this world is bondage. Nothing would be wrong with it if we used it the way God had intended from the beginning of Creation, and also if we hadn’t HYPERCHARGED the modern strains to insane strength. People always argue if weed is a gateway drug or not. For a lot of us, even alcohol is a gateway drug. TELEVISION was a gateway drug for me, just watching movies with drug scenes made me lust after getting high as a little kid. So what’s wrong with marijuana… the Bible tells us not to be intoxicated with earthly substances but to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18) - I’ve tried both and God’s Spirit is infinitely better than any high the world can give.

Praying for you now. No matter how strong the feelings, Jesus Love is greater. Keep pressing in to the secret place of His presence with all your heart. Keep asking Jesus to reveal himself to you. Keep praying for a revelation of God's true love for you (Ephesians 3:14-17). The journey of discovering God's love has been life changing for me (I'm still on it!). Don't give up - God rewards those who seek diligently.
Yup. If you're skeptical that's understandable, it's not something most people would believe in unless they have their own encounter with it. But when you do personally go through demonic activity you'll never doubt again.
