  • Nick Falato discusses the #Giants fifth-round pick Tyrone Tracy, the RB out of Purdue. Tracy is a former WR of the Iowa Hawkeyes and switched positions before his final eligible collegiate season.
    He will compete for RB two snaps behind Devin Singletary, with the upside of having designed plays that feature him in specific game plans. He'll also be a threat on special teams.

    I finally have some enthusiasm about the Giants special teams. They have several very good options for returner. I think Tracy will give the Giants some interesting options on 3d and long situations as well.

    This is my favorite day 3 pick. The explosiveness & pass pro ability makes him the favorite for rb2

      The Giants roster being completely barren behind Singletary is a big part of it too.

      @@MrBruceWolf For sure. That's why I think most us Giant fans knew they were going to draft an RB bc going into training camp with Brightwell & Gray as your primary backup RBs just wasn't enough

    Excited to see what he can add to this offense. I think he will hopefully be impactful

    Nick. You should do a Podcast on your own! Having a less knowledgeable sidekick is holding you back from being elite!

    Keep hearing how he needs to develop more vision but I see him follow the blockers just fine … he’s gonna get better … that’s the best part

    Conner Rogers and Trevor Siekama (idk spelling) both said it wouldn’t surprise them if he’s the main back this year or at least splitting all of the carries

    Great Analysis Nick. Great content as usual. He can be a nice little weapon on 3rd downs.Scheon, Brown & Dabes nade purposeful drafts where 4 of these players may get significant time this year

    Great breakdown as always, Nick. And I know how you wanted to increase our explosiveness, and his name is Drake Maye 😅. I'm sure Joe would have pulled the trigger if it was at all possible, but I never thought it would be. Simply, the Pat's needed a QB more than we do. I know I'm a die-hard Daniel Jones fan, and if we were picking third and they picked Drake Maye I would have been all on board with it. Time to move on and not cry over spilt milk. Jones now has the weapons he needs and if the line can even be average we shall see. Either way, this is his last shot and I agree. If he doesn't take a huge step up, I will be banging the table for quarterback with you. I still think he might surprise us, though. The kid has some good things going for him, and he takes more flack than he really deserves. So I'm going to stay positive about this season and see what there is to see.

    Do I see a bit of Ahmad Bradshaw? He is "slimy" in tight holes, hard to grab. I like he doesn't jump outside every time the hole closes.

      A little bit, a little bit...Bradshaw had more power to his rushing style, but i see it from a slippity slip stand point

    Nice having a receiving back on the team if we're going with a situational RB approach this season. Ty Montgomery lite? I just hope we get a bigger bruising back like Latavius Murray to compliment these smaller guys

      @chrisd742 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To be honest I don't think they're into "big guys" at RB. I think they like the smaller between the tackle guys.

      @@chrisd742 I dont think they do either but Im a huge fan of backfields that look like the Bradshaw/Jacobs combo
