I work in Auditing and a lot of the clients that I work on are owned by Private equity, and they are all terribly run. Worse off is that often times the PEG saddles the company with the debt that was used to buy the company in the first place. this means that you have $1 billion revenue a year companies with $1 billion in debt on their books. Often times to you see these companies barely break even some how despite such massive amounts of revenue. usually all of the excess money goes towards paying back the loans or pay the PEG. What this means is that often times especially because EBITDA is used as a valuation metric when they go to sell the company after a couple years the company can never survive on it's own, the debt is often from the PEG, so if the company decided to go public instead they would still owe the PEG for the whole debt.
It's a system that only allows the first purchaser of the company that makes money.

Same dude I never studied. Honestly never. Bullshitted every single exam I ever took including SAT and ACT. I am shocked I even got into any university let alone the one I wanted to go to. But for me, it was a classic case of that strat not working pretty quickly after HS. Once I got to junior level classes, I started having to actually change my behavior.
