Memes aside i feel like if you dont get horrible luck Lr ssj3 goku and ssj2 vegeta are actually designed pretty well for this event. The first phase of omega is pretty tanky so you can stack up multiple times easily then by the time you get to the second phase you can exchange and power up the spirit bomb to nuke the final phase. Having two of them on the team might be a problem though and super magneto could job too.
It’s definitely doable with whis item.
they are the best unit in the game for this stage, but you definitely dont want to run 2 of them because of the str phase

This video really goes to show the sad state of the current meta and just how badly Dokkan needs to start buffing other categories. Like I’ve seen people say this event wasn’t that hard, yet they’re using either BOPAC, Earth-Bred Fighters, Pure Saiyans, Power of Wishes, or Movie Heroes, with all of the best units in the game. Like yeah not shit you’re gonna have an easier time using the top units in the meta.
But if you take these weaker teams into these end game fights - which right now is almost every category that’s not the five I previously mentioned - and you’ll see the true difficulty of the fight as well as the poor state these other categories are in. I just think it’s sad that there’s nearly 80 categories in the game yet Dokkan continues to only give regular buffs to the same 5-6 categories. It would be nice if other teams were just as strong to diversify the meta - especially for end game players - because right now it’s just the same 5 teams, all with insane overlap in units, and if you’re not using those units/teams in these tough fights…good luck ig 🤷🏾♂️
And also the fact that some categories should straight up not exist/should be fused with others.

Bro everyone was wanting a challenging fight for a long time,now we get that fight and you guys still complain,you guys are yourself not sure what you want,if everything in the game is piss easy then it is no fun and final trump card team is not that bad just that the omega fight counters this team hard,also they don't buff the same categories over and over again,WT was a useless team,now it is a pretty top tier team,also there are items in the game you can easily use them to clear the missions with weaker teams,truth doesn't use items because in that way it is more fun for him,overall this video was pretty entertaining to watch because of this stage's difficulty,these types of stages are much more fun than the stages which require no challenge and gets completed easily,then we again starve for more content.
The only complaint I have are the extreme teams which surely needs a lot of buff and dokkan has done a poor job in that so far.

1. No one’s complaining that event is “too hard” I’m merely saying that the difficulty of the event reveals itself more when you’re not using top heavy setups.
2. Final Trump Card is not a great of a team as you may think it is. It lacks a consistent slot 1 unit (which is almost essential for any team to compete against these super tough bosses nowadays). While some of the units on the category are strong on their own, using those units on a team is not super cohesive. If you watch the video you’d see that truth is using all of the best characters on Final Trump Card aside from the blue fusions: this includes 3 of the top 10 best units in the game(8th anni lrs), arguably the best eza in the game (piccolo), and mvp 17 - who is arguably a top 5 eza, and majunior who’s the best df tur currently. Phy SV is the weakest unit on the team, yet even he plays a valuable role as he’s one of the few units that can comfortably withstand those aoe normals. Truths team is technically “top heavy” and yet it took him nearly a hour just to ALMOST no item with FTC. The team overall lacks cohesion and consistent defense in slot 1.
3. You mentioning WT is proving my whole point. WT and DB saga are perfect examples of how Dokkan should handle weaker teams. They were able to take two useless categories and make them super competitive over the course of a single celebration. Earthlings is another category that they massively improved in the span of a few months. So there’s absolutely no reason why they can’t do this with the other 70 categories. They can easily use the time during the smaller celebrations throughout the year to buff weaker categories, they just often chose not to. If you look at all the major releases within the last year and a half, they almost always have been a buff for one or multiple of the 5 categories I mentioned. Any releases that wasn’t buffing those categories received little to no support (lr super buu, str super 17, turles, Agl cell, carnival omega, lr eza cell, eza str super buu, int majin vegeta was in the same boat for a while too). The point is that they do often give consistent buffs to the same categories when they are capable of providing the same support to other categories - as they’ve shown with WT and DB saga.

4:20 The reason why a lot of people don’t like dodge is even if you had it, the only attack you want to dodge is the super which isn’t even that likely to happen.
Compare that to additionals where you can potentially get extra stacks on them or crit which is just extra damage. The point is that crit and add are more consistent in their performance and dodge is EXTREMELY luck based on units like buu duo

He has more luck with dodging supers than doing additional supers of the hidden potential system. That's why he loves dodge. If you have to go full dodge on a unit because they can't get hits then that unit is not worth to run. Sometimes is good going full dodge but if you go that route with the 2nd part 8th anniv units then don't complain if you don't get enough hits for them.
@zapato6071 the problem is luck is different for everyone. I'm really lucky with additionals but not as lucky as Truth with dodge. That changes my pov
@@only_son5040 yeah, some are lucky with dodge, crit, additionals or summons. That's why you have to look in the other perspective and not having that bias of " i always dodge so that's why it's always better over everything else" not everyone has your same luck
Plus people are beating events with 55%-69% units just fine. Dodge is the least relevant factor in him beating content. He literally has a private server level box. Truth is just scared of dying even though he dies with full dodge teams all the time. There is no difference to an average player. If they die, they can just hop back in and try again. And almost nobody cares about no item runs.

Final trump card. A team with no slot 1 option and a lot of their units need a lot of orbs but they don't have a orb changer at the beginning (with the exception of the vegeta part of the z duo) nothing can go wrong.

Watching that first turn I had a thought. What if yhe 8th anni z duo had guard for the first 4 turns? They would be a passable slot 1 option while they had guard and then their def would get high enough after the 4 turns that they could probably tank every Nirmal in the game. If they got all 8 supers then I think they would be able to tank all normals. Except maybe this omega boss in his str phase or cell max or something? Idk but if they just had guard for the first 4 turns they would be on the same lvl as the 8th anni gt duo I think. Maybe a little bit below them but it wouldn't be as big a gap as it is

Team : rotations 5th anni teq vegito + 5th anni str gogeta ; 8th anni phy goku vegeta + 8th anni str goku vegeta ; floaters agl gogeta, teq janemba movie gogeta(very useful for seeing super attacks and then restarting game), teq 7th anni gods. Very hard, 1 less dodge and i would have lost. Items 2x whis, bulma heal memory
fishing for the crit is actually what made him lose that last run, his copy of the z duo had done enough supers to survive that super at the start, and likely wouldve killed omega

The Str Omega normals and ape’s are bad after he supers cause he greatly raises attack. So they are doing more like 600k so for a Super Phy is gotta be something like 750k+ defense needed to tank those.

I just spent a good while doing this exact category. SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta can do well WITH good luck. Build them up, Standby in the STR phase and pray to god about the other one. I tried bring 5th year Fusions in here but phase 1 takes so long that they transformed before I got to the STR phase and couldn’t dodge. It was really hard
4:10 the reason you're higher on dodge than most people is because you play 20 hours a day so of course you're going to see dodge proc more often than most and that's going to skew your view when you think about it because of how much you see dodge happen.
While most players run this stage a few times get the missions done and dip you're going to continue to run it hundreds of times so by sheer volume you're going to see dodge happen more. so you're going to think it actually happens more and when you need it but in reality for every super dodge on average 2 more go undodged maybe even 3 depending on the amount of dodge in the HiPo system.
This is not to say dodge is bad or worthless or anything that's just foolish, I am going to say you over rate the hell out of dodge. It's not the saving grace that wins you runs all the time like you say it is. it's something that can win you a run but crit and additional can just as much win you runs at the end of the day.
Also if you want people to stop screaming at you about dodge you have to stop telling them they're wrong and that they're stupid and feeding them attention, that only makes them want to get more attention out of you thus continuing the cycle.
To connect this with my personal experience to yours. I literally cannot run dodge units without them selling. Out of countless attempts I have not been able to clear the metal cooler core with agl ui goku on my team sinply because he gets hit once and falls over dead. with my personal dodge experience he's just not a runnable unit while you can run him no issues while he bobs and weaves everything since the 6th anniversary.

People criminally underuse the fact that the 8th years get 100% extra defense in slot 1. The buu duo can easily be sitting at 1.5 mil defence or more in slot one after a turn or 2 of stacks

Reminds me of the Corroded Body & Mind Mission in was it GTLGE? But it was before same name update so were really limited on who you can bring, I remember after hundreds of attempts I recorded winning run I had Int Black and Teq Majin Vegeta along with Teq Fat Janemba, I was at like 90k HP and I got like 4 Teq Orbs with Janemba which gave rotation Support And* gave me like 10k HP in healing, Seems like such small amount but its crazy Int Rosé Double Supered n Double Crit then took like 97k from Super leaving me with like 3k HP, Then Teq Majin Vegeta Double Supered n Double Crit took double digits from normals then Teq Janemba didnt kill with Super but had additional normal that finished Goku…
Long story short Had I not put Rosé Slot 1, Had he not double supered, Had I not got 10k HP with Janemba, Had I not got support from Janemba, Had Majin Vegeta not Double Supered or Double Crit, Had Janemba not got additional normal, If wasnt for Every one of those I wouldve been KOd or not finished Goku n likely died in next turn, It was like literally 10+ things needed to happen to get W and I luckily had them all happen lol!!

32:40 this turn was a misplay the first atk was an Aoe so it was an guaranteed non super so he could’ve kept the stand by and just put the Z duo slot one they had 600k def and they would’ve got more def from slot 1. he would’ve been able to standby with the other Z duo next turn.
in your last run you shouldn't go for the spirit bomb. You could have let spirit bomb goku tank and ssj3 Goku and ssj2 Vegeta would kill him in slot 2
