ReListening to all the westlife songs in 2024. I’m now a 37 woman living in NYC and sitting on the sofa while my husband cooks us dinner. It really is making me realize how much love my husband has given me. Little 12 year old me could only imagine I would feel this type of love one day 🥰.

Not only in U.S., but throughout América, for example, here in México, people confuse Westlife with Backstreet Boys, they listen to a Westlife song and their reaction is like: "Hey, they sound like the Backstreet Boys".

Westlife! I don't even know where to begin.
At the age of 8, this is my first ever song of them that I listened to, and within 2 mins, I made a promise to myself: "I am going to marry an Irish man one day when I grow up" and told my mom about it LOL. All she did was laughing at me. I don't blame her 😂. She keeps talking about it until now
Being born and raised in Vietnam where English isn't my first language, after this song, and many of their good songs, I promised myself: "I am going to learn English. I am going to be fluent in English to be able to undersrand what theyre singing".
And here I am. 20 years after my first time listening to this song. Happily married to a handsome Canadian Irish man for almost 8 years now. 2 beautiful mixed Vietnamese and Irish babies.

I began listening to Westlife in 2006; in 2008 my parents gifted me an mp3 player and I filled it with Westlife songs and used to listen to these on repeat. Since I have heard it in many places it brings back a ton of memories when I listen to this song now.
