Insulation on the Top Plate looks like some kind of NoRes material! Heat might have baked it hard! Surprised the Transport Mechanism isn't a modified D+M Transport! Better Quality than I would have expected! 4 Dac's per side gotta Sound Good! ✌️

You probly seen this guy but if not check out Zeus Custom. Some very classy bikes! from Bangkok. Be worth the trip to visit his shop, its pretty sick. He needs a dream hifi system to compliment his shop.

You can snip the spdif signal and put in a glas optic fiber output module in it. Would be killer.

That squirky sound, sounds like a faulty motor. Very easy to replace on these. Or it could be something that's just stuck. :)
