This is a modern rotary valve trumpet, very common in German in symphony orchestras, and also in other European countries. This specific trumpet in this video also has extra “Klappen” valves. The rotary valve trumpets have a slightly softer sound than the piston valve trumpets .

This is a modern rotary valve trumpet. This is the kind of trumpet you have to use when you audition to a German symphony orchestra. This trumpet (probably very expensive) also has extra “Klappen “ ( = vent holes) operated by the right hand pinky. You see them in other European countries as well, but almost never in US.

But last week I saw a YAMAHA in a TH-cam video and caughted my attention (and it’s cheaper)... And now watching your amazing video, I noticed it looks like the YAMAHA, but not really sure.
