I failed the test 2 times and didn’t pass until I was almost 21😭 I didn’t get my first car until 21 either! I literally went to like 3 different driving schools to learn😭Driving is a big deal and it can be scary for a bunch of reasons!congratulations !!!!!! Not extra at all it’s a huge deal 🥺

When I was practicing for my license (in high school) I actually got into a really traumatic accident (a drive ran a red light and tboned me) so I ended up putting off my test for a bit because I was so scared. But I'm glad both you and I pushed through our fears and passed our tests. No one should ever feel ashamed for being scared to drive. It's a completely valid emotion.

Congratulations on getting your license. Your sister's reaction was mine with my 19 year old son now 21 lol. Also what we did was play stocker on the instructor and follow them to see the road test and see what they make the person testing do. That really helped him.

Congrats! I waited until I was 22 to get mine. Also failed first try. 6 Years later I still get anxious on the road but it slowly gets easier and better overtime 😇

Congrats on getting your license Yeimy! I got mines after finishing college before I got my first job on the 2nd try too. I only had the summer & being home as my practice back then & it was a wait. Now driving for a long time it is nice to have that adult box checked off because that is also my alone time. Enjoy it but then you’re gonna realize the expense on gas soon haha 😅

i need my license too !! im 17 😭 but i have so much anxiety when it comes to driving like my dad tried teaching me but he’s no help he just yells and my family always say why are you scared, look at your friends and classmates they already have their license and I’m like it’s not easy for me since i have so much anxiety 😺
Wow, I was the opposite and tried to keep him off from driving. I wasn't ready to pay for the high insurance parents pay for their teens. You have good parents maybe annoying lol but I'm sure my son felt the same about me. But once he got his license 19, he bought his car and pays his own insurance policy. We also made him save all his checks for one year and bought his car cash at age 19 Mercedes-Benz 2015. This way the only payment he has is his insurance payment. If he loses his job only worries about insurance. Now he pays us rent but we are saving it for him, he doesn't know. Once he's ready to move out and get his own place he will have that money back for down payment.
i feel the same way!! my dad yells too😭 and he gets really frustrated when teaching someone how to drive. if ur able to try to get someone else to teach you! screaming and shouting when trying to learn how to drive can be a bit stressful🙁 so its always best to learn with someone who is calmer! wishing you the best of luck!🤍🤍

CONGRATS YEIMY. My story was a mess lolol I took my test in November because that was when my parents could take me and I failed because "I didn't look (sides) when crossing the road? going on the main road." Then I scheduled my test for the next week and they did not let me test because my car horn was not loud enough. Then I started panicking because my permit was going to expire in like March but i told everyone February so someone could take me ASAP. Then I ended up Texting a friend asking if she could take me and what day she was free and so she took me and it was technically my second try and even in the DMV they said it was my second try because they didn't count the time with the car horn, since it was a car problem not a me problem. The other thing was i took my test in two different cities and the same lady tested me only because she was called to that other city since another worker couldn't go in.
