so i thought how could i take a cute, relatively upbeat song and make it about the s1 gang o hey my dark academia playlist has this song AND IT SAYS JON. animatic time. plus i thought that it would be mildly funny if the lil jon line referenced jon which is just. the sheer juxtaposition. i hope i captured the bittersweet quality of their weird co-worker friendship well hehe
i think im well on my way to making at least ONE MORE tma video and then we'll see if i can actually get around to the penumbra podcast one im TRYING MY BEST TO STAY FOCUSED ON IT BUT THE TMA BRAINWORMS KEEP EATING MY MOTIVATION IM SORRY IM TRYING!!!!!

This was really cute and sad! I miss the season 1 dynamics and squad, back when there was that sorta funny, awkward begrudging love-hate and picking at each other and just... camaraderie. Back before everyone learned how real stuff got and everyone got so jaded and/or killed.

Even the begining with the typewriter font that hesitates before typing sasha, you killed me before this even started- oh my, I just love the your art style and your headcanons for the way they looked it's so cute! Also, it's quick but the part where Jon is getting paranoid and Tim is crying facing away but martin is trying to look through a window and reach out to Jon really TORE MY HEART OUT oh my god and then the flicker of sasha and fake sasha got me too, this was wonderful, I love this song and you really made something beautiful with it!!
