Packers went to NFC Championship Game in 1995, 96, and 97. The Vikings went to NFC Championship Game in 1998 and 2000. 1999 was the only year in a 6-year run where neither of them advanced to the NFC Championship Game.
And in 99 Tampa Bay, another NFC Central team, was there.

Vikings won the overall decade of the rivalry by 1 game. Vikings really the only team in the division that stood up to the Packers.

It was very clear that the '99 Viking offense under Ray Sherman was clearly out of sync almost from the start of the season. After Cunningham was benched in Detroit and George was put in as the starter, Dennis Green dusted off Brian Billicks old playbooks and had Sherman to begin running those plays again. The result was instantaneous, 5 straight wins and they were back in the NFC playoff hunt. After the playoff loss in St. Louis, Ray Sherman was not retained as offensive coordinator.

The Packers drafted 3 cornerbacks in the 1st 3 rounds of the 1999 draft. Antwan Edwards, Fred Vinson, and Mike McKenzie......then traded their BEST cornerback, Craig Newsome to the 49ers.
Antwan Edward’s jumped the route and picked off the pass in the game didn’t he? And Newsome was a First Rounds draft choice and was decent at best he was forced into retirement after the 99 season. Who won there? McKenzie long career with Pack, 15 picks over a 5 year run starter. Antwan Edward’s 6 picks in 5 years with the Pack starter, Vinson bust.
49ers games at Candlestick Park pretty please??

49ers victory over the Texans at Candlestick Park on New Years Day, January 1st, 2006 which wrapped up the 2005 Regular Season, please do that game
And the NFC Playoff game at Candlestick Park between the 49ers and the Lions in January 1984 from the 1983 season, please do that game as well, pretty please
That game took place December 31st 1983 and I've already posted it on other sites. I'm going to eventually get to 49ers games but it'll take time. I've also got to balance having other teams up and making sure I don't get the same teams over again. I will have a 49ers season profile coming up in a few weeks that is probably my next 49ers project. I'm working on eventually doing some late 80s-early 90s 49ers games but those will be up late this year or early next year.
