I like how they hug the coast to the point you can figure out where you are at most points. 48:30 is Salinas. Then coming out over Monterey Bay. The small city of Castroville hasn't encroached on the surrounding farming land since I lived in Marina 25 years ago. 51:40 is Watsonville .
I do the best I can to sit in a variety of different seats. That way everyone has the videos they want. I'm glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for watching!
9 AM at the gate for a 12 PM flight? It shows that you just love the environment of being there, spotting planes, visiting the stores etc. We can feel it in your content. Great job!!!!!
Well, if you ever wanted to know what my video titles look like before they publish, I.e., how I keep everything organized, that's it haha. Some good it did me today haha. I looked at my schedule wrong and had the wrong video ready to go for today hahaha. Oh well, I fixed it pretty quickly.
I recently discovered your channel. I love the vids, I feel like I'm actually flying haha. One little request. It would be super awesome if you add a real time G force meter so we can have an idea of how the flight is actually being felt. Like for example, I've seen some turbulence while landing and I wonder how much Gs are being experienced. I'm an engineer so that would increase a lot the sense of being there watching the landings and takeoffs.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the content my friend. I’ve had several people request similar things over the last few years, and I’ve never done it. And here’s why. I try to make my videos as pure as possible. As you said, to try to make it as close to the view were actually being on the flight as possible. So, I try to edit as little as possible, and I don’t add anything that you wouldn’t have if you were sitting in that seat, looking out the window just like I am. I don’t have any text to the screen, obnoxious music, or any type of informational stuff. Perhaps, as I get more time to work on the channel, I’ll try a new stores that adds stuff like that.
Always loved that route and that approach. It's often a real challenge to get the aircraft down in time because they always like to keep you up high until the last minute. You can see in this video that he had to use flight spoilers with the approach flaps at the same time. I always try to warn people new to the approach.
Absolutely stunning video! The change in topography from SoCal through the San Joaquin Valley is breathtaking and it culminates with that spectacular shot of the Mothership in Cupertino! You know how I always rave about your vids from South Florida, but California is right up there with Florida that are among two of the most beautiful places on this planet!
Just wanted to say I recently discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying it. I have no idea why but flight videos are awesome to me and fun to watch. Makes me feel like I'm part of it. Lol. I love flying but don't fly often at all. Last time I flew was in 2013 when I went to Toronto for a weekend. I intend to fly again once the pandemic is over though. I want to go to Tennessee after this is all over and it would take two flights for me to get there. Anyway, great videos and thanks for them. Fun to watch and makes me feel like I'm on the plane which is awesome. You just gained a new subscriber.
I have no issue with people using audio from my videos for simulator videos. I also have no issue if people want to use short clips of video from the airports or boarding on the jetbridge. As long as it’s credited. What I don’t allow is people to use large sections of videos like the whole takeoff or landing.
Ah KLAX watching this full flight video brings back nostalgia only difference is I use to fly to Oakland back to LAX weekly for business on southwest of course 😃
Lol so what are your favorite flights, short & quick (which I call hop skip and jump from one city to another, or the longer flights from California to Hawaii and beyond?
I actually prefer the short hops. But my user statistics and analytics show me that my viewers overwhelmingly prefer the longer flights. Long flights are easily the most watched videos I post.
I don't remember the exact altitude we were at on this specific flight, but it would've been a normal cursing altitude. Even on short flights, it's still more beneficial to fly at higher altitudes, so it would've likely been in the 30,000 feet range. I just looked up a Untied flight heading from LAX-SFO right now, and it's 15 minutes into it's flight and is already at 36,000 feet. Thanks for watching my friend!
Was this a long takeoff? It looked like you had the takeoff longer than the midflight period. You don't usually do it that way. I am very confused now. Did you do some mistake in your video editing or something?
Chapters are great, but they're not always completely accurate. I use timestamps to mark the start of each phase. So, in this case, I used 13:43 to mark the start of the takeoff. The next major even in the flight was the onboard service, so the chapter populates that it's "takeoff" all the way until then. The chapters aren't always a perfect system when you use them like I do. That said, I added another chapter between takeoff and the onboard service to help break this one up better. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 major event * Thank you for fixing the problem. Just please make sure that you are completely ready with your video before publishing it on TH-cam from next time. You're good. ☺
At least when viewing these videos, one doesn't have to endure with turbulence, the crying baby that cries and screams the entire trip, the 7 year old that continually kicks the back of your seat, the drunk passing out beside you, or the farting dog in the kennel carrier under the seat in front of me.

Thank you for sitting in a seat where the wing dose not cover most of the view like so many of the videos on this site. This is refreshing.

I was so confused with this video from the title at first when i got a notification lol, Love the views of your videos!

Crazy how much greener it gets the more north you go..Great Vid! 🔥
Great flight video there. Many very clear videos you have there. Born and raised in Santa Rosa. Love the area, but VERY expensive to live here.
I love how the buzz of the engines starts to sound muffled as the plane climbs due to thinner air.
wow i didnt even know that
The view from above is so relaxing and tranquil. Great scenery, great flight! ✈🏔☀️🤩
That CFM never gets old. Great one mate!
Wow, what a beautiful flight, I love the sounds of the engines, they’re very relaxing….thank you for sharing!!✈️
I watch his videos with headphones and it puts me to sleep...very relaxing..
Love the old school southwest livery

A very relaxing flight to San Francisco! TY
Great views of LAX on SW 737 take off
Great work, as always!!!

As always, I'm glad you enjoyed this one my friend. It was a very beautiful flight. I had a lot of help from the weather on this one.
56:32, Apple HQ came into view.

Loved it! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You could use the San Andreas fault as a navigational tool. It's visible for most of the flight.
Here before new Title
Haha, so I had the title and everything written for a different video today. Apparently I looked at my own schedule wrong hahaha. It's fixed now!
@@sla31 Lol it’s crazy there are almost 2000 Videos on this channel
Whenever the CFM engine starts it vibrates the whole plane.
it does I’ve felt it like a lot of times
Beautiful!!
At 2:08 you can hear the takeoff configuration warning horn
I feel jetlagged from watching this. Oops! You don't get jetlag going up the CA coast!
Anyhow, lots of great views on this flight.
I miss the Canyon blue liverys
Great video sir. May i use some parts of your video to reproduce back in my simulator? I will give credits sir.

Great fly! Not related to flying but did you buy/get a free COVID-19 test kit from the federal government?
Thanks my friend. Yes, I did order my free Covid tests. Although I haven't gotten them yet.
I Love To fly the airplane
I was fine with the fact i'm not flying anytime soon... until this video
I'm sorry to have done that to you my friend haha.
I was on the same exact seat but on a different flight from LAX to BNA!

The East Coast is so dull compared to this. From Boston all the way to Florida. Really
Will you ever do an Spirit airlines video?
Never day never. I didn't anticipate flying any Frontier Airlines flights so soon this year, and I already have two Frontier flights this year.
20:07 it looks like a submarine in the water.

At 1822 are we looking at Malibu ?
I believe it is. I haven't been there in years, but I think after the point comes into view is Zuma Beach (famous), appx 18:56.
