I recently had the biggest wedding fail, and it actually had nothing to do with the My Wedding Stories game pack! Buckle in for a story:
So my two nature-loving sims wanted an outdoor wedding, except it was winter, and I was a bit too impatient to wait for spring. So I tucked a weather machine off to the side on the lot, and made it a hot, sunny day. Problem was, all my guests had already arrived in their winter clothes.
The ceremony itself wasn't bad, but once the reception started, I ended up having 3 of my guests dying due to overheating. 3!!! And I couldn't save anyone by pleading with Grim. Needless to say, the loving atmosphere of my sims' wedding day was completely ruined XP
I decided to kinda include it as part of my story now, where the bride feels incredibly guilty about those 3 people dying, so she's made it her mission to level up in both cooking and gourmet cooking so that she might be able to successfully cook some Ambrosia and bring the dead guests back to life.
A wedding and 3 funerals lol!
I imagine that honeymoon might have been a bit sour. Crazy.

There's a cottage themed wedding venue at the gallery that uses only Cottage Living. It's sooooo beautiful and I use that for every wedding in my game
I have one sim who owns the photo shop. He does wedding photos of the couple. He has his own family but I move him in for a few hours and we go to the studio for pictures of the couple! He can also stay and take shots of the wedding! He then puts them around the house and gets “paid” when he leaves!!! Sometimes he gets awesome shots to sell in his studio as well! I love all your ideas!
I've made courthouse/city hall weddings using Get to Work. Half of the courthouse is for the ceremony and other half has jail holding cells with beds and toilets in case things get out of hand.

So I actually have a wedding planner sim who i created and put on a lot long enough to maximize all their skills and max them in the stylist career.
Whenever someone rich or famous has a wedding this sim moves in. They handle the wedding photos. Occasionally swoop in to make a cake if the catering sim is distracted , they handle everything so my newly weds leave with amazing photos and memories. Then when they move out of the household again they take their fee with them.

Batuu wedding with clothes from Batuu pack💀💀and you invite stormtroopers, rebels and main charactes to the wedding in space themed venue with some aliens as guests. Spouses will fight with lightsabers after/before enveloping, and flower pal will be dressed as Obi Wan or other SW fav 💀💀💀

You doing your laundry is hilarious 😂. My first time washing clothes, I actually put colors with whites and it was a pink mess! And I wish we could wash away our bills for real!

Another you could do is off lot weddings there are off lot arches in some worlds like windenberg behind the von haunt estate by the waterfall and brindleton bay by the pool theres one at the water edge

Very nice. I just wish the actual "wedding venue" lot type wasn't broken in the base game right now. I was so excited when we got the venue type that I made a venue for each occult type but they aren't usable for actual weddings right now so I am sad.
i didnt buy the pack. i have no idea what is broken. but essentially cant you still get married at the places you made?
@@agood1 if you don't have the pack, the wedding venues don't show up in the lists of places you can hold a wedding.

Digging the gothic church vibes for a vampire wedding -- though if you REALLY wanted to go gothic, it occurs to me that making a park that's a faux-cemetery would be fantastic for such Sims.
I love all of your wedding venue ideas! ❤️💖❤️ My favorite is the beach wedding! I always wanted to have a destination wedding or something similar to that. I'm also interested in having a garden wedding or a fancy luxury wedding. if a luxury wedding or a destination wedding isn't an option, I wouldn't mind having a backyard wedding at home. Might not be as fancy, but it shouldn't have to be to marry your true love right? 👩❤️👨 The others are cool too, especially the chateau one! Great wedding ideas! ❤️🤵👰♀️❤️

If MWS worked it would have been fire if you could assign table numbers and assign sims to tables. This would have been perfect to make that guest list object functional by assigning invited sims or sims on the lot to specific table numbers. This probably would have allowed some coding to force the sims to sit to eat….then use that same coding to fix the high chairs. Wishful thinking ☹️

Jannie! Currently the beach wedding venue is on the gallery. The chateau will be going up very shortly... in about an hour :), and I also plan to upload the barn/farmstay wedding lot in the future too.

I have some question about save files. This is kind of confusing but I'll try to make it simple.
So I was doing a 100 baby legacy challenge (combined challenge between the 2) and I have previous save files that I don't use because I playing with my current one.
Q1) if I deleted the previous save files would I keep the same game to where it's up to?
Q2) if I start a new save a change the sim lifespan will it affect other of my saves too?
Because I made a new save to be on normal lifespan but my other one on long but when I went back to the current save everyone had aged up and there lifespan was on normal.

Quite the opposite actually. Thanks to this video, I decided to only get the pack on promo for the lots. A lot of cool ideas here that don't require the pack at all.
