@@piphastings6734 It's a decent place to live, I think. I hated it when I first moved here and I do still want to move out to the country, but OKC kinda grew on me. It has gotten a bit more liberal than what I would like, though.
Went to basic @Ft. Sill in 11/07. Took off from Dulles and it was a three hour flight to OKC. I'm scared of heights. About two and a half hours in I asked the stewardess where we were. She said over Oklahoma she guessed. I made the mistake of looking out the window( it was night by then). I saw what looked like a few farms and a few fences with lights on them. So I asked her if we were landing. She looked out the window and said no we were still at altitude ( 35,000 ft) and that was a city. Yep. Shouldn't have done that. I almost had a heart attack.
Ahhh yes well first off thanks for serving and hang in there on basic, I never had to the opportunity to serve in the military but many of my co-workers served. It's funny if I am in a seat belt or enclosed capsule I am fine..but if I stand on the edge of a mountain it is a different story. Good luck adjusting. What will be your specialty, do you know yet?
Glad to see somebody flying to my homestate.
Good video!
