Flea markets & village festival in French countryside/ brocante HAUL/ Wine tasting with local people

- This is the fourth vlog of our summer holiday in Burgundy. We went shopping at a flea market (brocante) and village festival in a lovely little village bought some antique tableware. The shopping at the flea market is a continuation of the previous video, but don't worry, you can still enjoy without watching the previous one (but of course it's easier to understand the situation if you do ☺️).
It was the first flea market and festival in a lovely little village in the countryside, so the villagers seemed to be very excited and happy! In between our visits to the flea market, we had a look around the exhibitions in the gallery, bought some delicious food and listened to a typical French accordion performance.
During the tasting of the wines produced in the village, the owner appeared. He was very friendly and talked about many things, and what was only supposed to be a tasting turned out to be a lot of fun (lol).
At the end of the video, you can see some of the things we bought at the flea market and at other moving sales we visited during our stay in Burgundy. Again, we got Sarreguemines plates, pretty glassware and many other things...

Another great video! Enjoyed the gentleman from the winery, he was quite the character with all of his stories & could have talked forever - the wine looked good. Thanks for showing us all of your goodies that you purchased - some of those floral plates were really pretty. Again. looking forward to next weeks video.

The man in the market was playing a hurdy gurdy it is a very old traditional instrument dating back to medieval times. Lovely video thank you.
In French, it is called vielle à roue. This instrument first appeared in Germany, in the 12th Century.

There are so many wonderful aspects to your vlog and I agree with the comments I've read. Your visit to the flea market captured a lovely slice of village life and hearing people from different walks of life, talk and laugh together ,enjoying one......two......three......bottles of wine was a lovely moment to have captured. I wasn't even there and I felt drunk.

I used to have a set of 4 of those floral plates, made in France that I too bought at an antique sale and I hung them on my kitchen wall. They are beautiful.

A parte de todas tus compras que me han gustado mucho, me has enseñado a admirar lo que para mí, hasta que te descubrí, era un simple plato, ahora son "joyas".
Bien pues he disfrutado la conversación mientras degustabas el vino. Que historia el viticultor!! Reí cuando te dijo :'Si te quedas viuda...' no creo que a tu esposo le guste mucho ese vino🤭.
