The world's largest shinkarimelam performance with above 2001 participants was achieved by Shinkarimelam Welfare Association at Thekke Gopura Nada, Thrissur, Kerala, India on Dec 14,2019. The hour-long event, titled "Shinkari Pooram" started at 4.00pm.
