My wife's doc insists she keep heart rate below a certain level so her MAHLE X35-equipped gravel bike kicks assist in when she gets close the the max. Works great, she can ride as hard as she likes again! I use the assist on mine only when the climbs are steep so I fear no climb or a ride too long..there's always that gentle push if I want it. Best wishes on your recovery from surgery!!!
@larryt.atcycleitalia5786 Thank you, Sir. It's been over now, and I feel great. I really enjoy riding my ebikes; which i now have 3. One gravel and 2 mountain bikes. They keep me going. ✌️
Nice video, you rode the ebike after you rode your regular bike, so unless you're in racing shape, your heart rate is going to be more . That 45 minbreak between rides wouldn't be enough to not affect your ebike ride. E bike is twice as heavy, so it's going to take more work to maneuver it around Despite the pedal assist also you were like 30 minutes faster than your regular bike, so l think that is where the higher heart rate numbers come into play.
Definitely the regular gravel bike would be my choice. Keep the pedals turning my brother. I saw a melton truck the other day in Corpus and it had a mountain bike strapped in the back. I thought about you. Glad your doing well. God bless you.
Hey man, that was the 1st time since April. That I road the Cannondale. I was a little nervous, but I really felt great. How's the riding down in south Texas been this summer.🌅🔥 take care, and thanks for commenting.
It’s extremely hot. Drive all day hauling fuel. Get home in the evening. I usually wait till 7:30 or close to 8 to get on my mountain bike. Still too hot. My KW was reading 121 degrees earlier. Gotta love S.Texas.

Thank you, Tim. I really did not think about my heart rate in that manner. I appreciate you watching and commenting on this video.
Hilarious.. I bought a Cannondale Topstone 105 in 2019 and yesterday I bought a Wabash RT. Yamaha sale I could NOT refuse $1679
@DutchinCle 😆 I really think you'll enjoy the Wabash. I saw that they are selling all their bikes dirt cheap. Thanks for commenting, and have fun.
