I don't think he forgot the lyrics. He started singing the word "angimboni" at the same time as everyone else. I think he probably went off key or didn't pitch the notes the way he was supposed to. It happens sometimes.

Other recent translations have made us mistaken a bit hey, the enemy will come in but the Spirit ( Holy Spirit ) of the living God will raise a standard.
