In Victoria it's more stable, a full-term premier re-elected with a majority. In NSW you got 3 premiers and 3 opposition leaders in the last 8 years.

Because of this law called “WorkChoices” which was basically this amendment that gave employers freedom to do whatever they wanted with their employees such as getting rid of unfair dismissal laws and wages cut and trade unions being destroyed. It was a disaster to the working class and many people lost their jobs. And Labor promised that if they’re in power in 2007 they’ll get rid of WorkChoices. And they did. That’s why they were cheering. It was a huge win for the working people

This is how i look at it. Abbott is more then likely going to be PM. It looks as though the Australian people is fed up from the ALP. and more then likely an election is going to be held much sooner then September. I say May or June at the earliest.
