The stock has some issues, Chain Pusher, Jockey wheels, Chain Drop, Seatpost Slippage, brake caliper flex. so gotta see what u going after. Are you going to Mod? Are you going to fix/upgrade the parts, if yes then diy is better with your upgraded parts as compared to buying a complete bike.
Well then it isn't a "Brompton", buit a Brompton-copy-type foldie. As an owner of an original "LightweightH6LXBrompton" I have a fork and back made from titanium, so I think about buying a new frame from titanium for it, but as a tall, 184 cm and a 100 kilo heavy man, I must think about buying a "stronger" version, as most of those seems to be made for people of a more moderate weight! ;-)
And I have changed most of what I may find to lighter parts than the originals, a ceramic titanium crank, a titanium seat post (with a ringmount for the sadle) and rack. And I look (waiting to be able to pay for one) for a titanium stempost. I have a carbon handlebar.
@@niksh8074 The original Brompton Patent has run out, so it is free for other firms to produce Brompton like bikes/parts, though maybe not to officially sell bikes in the EU from Copyright isues? I asked for a possible 360 buy from Korea, but they didn't want to export to the EU. And if buying a foreign, expensive titanium frame for your bike, bevare of its quality, as it may be intended for people of less weight than a standard european man.
Right to the point instruction on building the bicycle from scratch. It's a great looking bicycle you have built !
this is a classic example of a BROMPNOT. Naise build!
Hello sir. Nice video. Do you have tutorial installing the shifter?sadly in this video you skip that part...
How much does it cost and the weight?
cost around 1.8k during covid period, right now i think u can easily build it with less than 1k with 2nd hand market
Can you do a comparison vid and tell the pros and cons and noticeable differences in details?
Is it posipel to make the fork like the t bromton line. On this bikes how much is a full titanversion.
the fork tube is different.. they are using different headset size
you cant allign the top jk logo on the headset tho
Well it looks like a brompton but it also looks like to move the hinges is very hard and not smooth and fast like at a brompton
What is the name of the bike stand you’re using and how much it cost,I’ve come across some that are ridiculously priced cost more than the bike I own.
Unisky , i bought it in 2020, cost around sgd $58 back then
Excellent!
Hey nice build. How long are the brake cables for front and rear?
Nice bro, is that cheaper way to build with parts? or just simply buy a complete build? Btw what's the weight like after u build it. Thanks~

@@enciktanyt9332 what seatpost sleeve are you using in this build? it seems like not a usual aceoffix plastic sleeve? cmiiw
Whats the bike overall weight at?
Btw manageable wit just the front brake only?
i nv weigh.. but is definitely heavier now as i added rack. yes it is manageable with front brake.
Only one brake is not safe
Did the hinges to fold it up loosen up with use? Or are they still stiff?
Loosen up after some time..
Niceeee... how much u spent on entire bike?
i used one of these frame to replace my existing one
Great!

Doesn't matter if it is a Brompton or not, as long as the ride is smooth and weight much less than Brompton. Of course cost less too.
