I bought two of these vaton and two of the night watchman ones. All 26 inch. I hope they turn out great, they arrive tomorrow.
No, it's not bent, these type of batons have some give inbetween the sections that allow them to slide out. Also, trying to snap the baton open without hitting filming equipment is difficult so I wasn't able to open it completely sometimes - notice how I was able to retract the baton with only my hand at the end. When it locks, you have to hit it against a hard surface for it to retract.

You get what you pay for... My ASP Baton cost me $120 and well worth every penny!

People buy these go out and start whacking trees and stuff and then complain that they're crap because they bend and stuff. They're meant to be hit against a humans flesh and bone and trust me even a 7 dollar or 7 pound steel baton that's tacky as fuck would knock you the fuck out if hit against your head and would definitely brake your hand if hit on the hand.

Thing's a pos. The top piece literally flew out and across the parking lot guess thats what happens with crapy Chinese batons.
Horrible. This baton does not extend by flicking. The only way I've been able to extend it is straight down. Allowed others to try. Same result. The Handle is very comfortable, however, so it will feel good in my hand while I'm being pummeled by an attacker.

It's a piece of junk. If you're serious....purchase a Monadnock baton. Will run you $100...BUT it's the best quality AMERICAN MADE baton on the market.
Also the holster is a piece of junk.
Had one on my belt. I Go to shit. I pull my pants down and it slips out of the holster. Makes a loud clattering noise too.
