I drove over 4 hours to watch this man preach! I believe his teaching. He is a true teacher!
I'm seriously trying to find a way to go on the 22nd. I realize you probably won't see this since your comment was from 5 years ago. They are having the 75th anniversary + it's Pastor Lawson's birthday right around the same time this month. I'm about 10 hrs drive away, but I don't care lol, I'd love to do it, a road trip would be so much fun. I know I can take the time off, it's just a lot $$ to get myself there. God bless TBC and God bless Pastor Lawson. One of his sermons similar to this one was what really woke me up about 7-8 years ago. Never heard a preacher like him. The closest one who I also love to listen to was Pastor David Wilkerson.

I grew up in Church, my Father was the Pastor. It was a small Church, bad neighborhood, always struggling but God was in that Church. Dad is long gone and I have fell far away from God and living a life as a sinner. I know Hell is real and patently waiting, I'm 58 where did the time go? I need to get right with God, please pray for me.

Went to church today and just wanted to scream because all the preacher could mutter was some mashed-up prosperity gospel....I could feel myself screaming inside and all I wanted to do was run, run, run....not a word about the concern for your soul and the true Gospel...The first words out of his mouth were....we are looking for signs and wonders....Oh Lord have mercy on us....

I grew up in church all my life. I left the Church in 88. In 2013 I ran a mile and in perfect physical condition. A few days later after work, I immediately had a stroke. NO SIGNS, NO WARNINGS, In just a second I was struck down and out cold. No time to repent and say "SAVE ME GOD". I took this TH-cam Video to heart and GOD saved me. This video was not to scare you, but to tell you the truth of what really happens when you die. This truth needs to be told and Bro Lawson loves everyone and if it wasn't for him preaching this WHO WILL....I'm not preaching second chances, I'm preaching that you might not have time to repent just like me. The Doctor said I should have died. I lost my right side of my body, lost some memory, I was bitter at first about this, but God was patient with me and now I cry just about everyday when I think of the pain he suffered on Calvary. THE SUFFERING GOD WENT THROUGH WAS A PREVIEW OF WHAT HELL IS GOING TO BE LIKE IF WE REJECT HIM..
Amen brother. Pastor Lawson's sermon about hell showed up out of the blue one day in my recommended about 8 yrs ago. I think there had been a little blip of one of his sermons also in another video I had watched about the end times but I didn't know who it was at the time who had preached it. Either way, I believe that God put that teaching in my path because it shook me up and it was exactly what I needed. I still, like a foolish person, strayed after that for a few years and would you believe that again earlier this year, Pastor Lawson showed up out of the blue in my recommended lol. I think God uses him in a mighty way and I believe he has reached so many more people than he could possibly know. He is a true blessing and a great teacher.

Too many church leaders are afraid to preach about Hell. They may be afraid that they may scare their congregation away, and the sermon is not "cosy" enough. As he stated; this is something he preached awhile back. He was led to discuss this again which confirms what I already know; we are living in the season of the LORDs return. Something I pray for daily is PATIENCE as I deal with folks as it's hard not to get a little frustrated when people have no desire to discuss almost anything nowadays. I like to reflect on the screen in the matrix movie where people are walking around like clueless zombies, oblivious to everything going on around them. I wasn't saved at the time but this scene seemed very profound to me at the time.

Honestly, it's the tradition of this 'assurance' and 'teaching' that I miss most. I most miss my grandparents and the long Sunday mornings together. Having a common enemy, whether it was real or imaginary, or communism, or some particular sin. It didn't matter. I loved this stuff. You could have told me purple clouds were coming to give me a third arm. Duh, we filter out what's wrong. It didn't matter what was said, but the opportunity to have something, ANYTHING to unite for. To hold our family members close for. A common fear or common good. To fight for. I really hope there is a way to carry this over into post-truth culture. I am not so sure anymore. I see 100 times more people pre-gaming on Sundays as I see at church.

Thank you for sharing these messages. You do not hear this type of preaching much anymore. My roots. Christians are not the same as the time I was growing up. I feel like there is nobody to look up to for guidance anymore. I miss all the old saints that inspired, encouraged, had Godly wisdom and used it correctly.
