About to finish rebuilding a nice little Mac 10 10 i found on Craigs list. Love these old saws. I have new ones but there’s just something about these saws.
Hey I have a question... I have the exact saw and noticed the oiler having a lil leak. It's not cracked or leaking anywhere else, it's just free running out of the port. Im using old 10w30 for bar lube currently. I'm running an Oregon AdvanceCut 16" bar at the moment, wonder if it has to do with not sealing to the saw properly...
I also bought it new in 1978 and it still runs great. Would anyone know what the max. rpm of this saw should be running at with no load . Can't seem to find this info anywhere.

I bought mine new in ‘77 and it still starts and runs just like that.
Very clean cool great cutting saw.
I have 3 of the 10-10 series. They seem to last for ever and have charisma that you can't buy today.

I bought a Pro Mac 10-10 about a month ago, for 220. That thing runs like I just bought it! Very reliable saws

I dont always wear a pink watch band, but when i do it's while using a chainsaw.
It was red before the sun got to it haha.

I have a pro mac 10-10 s special edition and it actually runs and cuts better than my new stihl Ms880r
