Shame EA came in and removed this kind of OST and replaced it with terrible Rap music to try and make it "trendy"

I love the buildup from 2:30 to 3:40. The first times I listened to the whole track, I kept wondering if the loading theme would start. "It's.... now! Oh, it isn't. It's... now! Wait, still no." etc x)
Haha - yes, in the game it's not so long but I just stuck the 4 building up version one after the other for this.... The game doesn't take this long to load really ;)

man your work is awesome. I like how the music started slow and its like building up teasing you that the best is yet to come , and then you hit that 3:40 mark boom
Jburon 72 Hey, thanks. Yep it was written like that originally but then in section was it's own individual tune to have different load build ups depending on where you were in game. For the OST it made sense to 'glue' them back together again. Glad you're enjoying it :)

Been trying F1 2015 after trying literally ALL the F1 titles so far, despite the unnecessary criticism this game received, it's an underrated gem. Plus these soundtracks are the best ones out there, you did a really good job, thanks for giving vibes while playing this game

Yeah, they’ve not really grabbed me either. I think the style is what they were trying to get me t9 do for 2017 though, but I just couldn’t do it because it’s so not ‘me’.

That was good, sadly from F1 2018 there is basicly no loading theme
They wanted to change direction to a more chill soundtrack - hence why I found 2017 so difficult to do as originally I told not to use chord sequences, percussion or melody... by someone who doesn't understand music!

Mouhammad Daniel F It's probably mixed in to one of the other tracks. These mixes are specific 'album' arrangements, to make them more musical rather than releasing a load of loops :)

I have mixed feelings about this game. It plays well, has a great soundtrack, but what made it disappointing is that so many features were not there. Most importantly career mode. However I really like that you can play through the 2014 season on this game.

I really hope that you will create a song about that tune or a new mix based on that sound starting from 3:40. Haven't heard such a good sound since Paul Van Dyke's For An Angel.

Mark Knight don't get me wrong 2016's soundtrack is great but it doesn't hold a candle to this instant classic, this should be the official theme tune of all F1 games starting from F1 2017

Thank you! Yes, I've basically taken the 2015 and reworked it like a sequel would be. Re-stylised it I suppose you could say. I'm using more vintage synth sounds this time aka Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre. Plus, I bought new speakers so I think the mix is a lot better this time too.

Glad you're enjoying the music. 2016's OST is a re-imagining of the 2015 music. A bit more retro synthy with less of the glitchy effects. More Tangerine Dream/Jarre I think.

This soundtrack is re-used in F1 2016 as its main menu theme.
It shouldn't be. A reimagination of it is certainly used in the load sequences in and out of race, but not in the main flow.

Haha, well loading is never the most fun of times though is it.... not since the games of the 80's which had minigames to play whilst the main game is loading. I think we should make games load longer, and re-introduce the loading game!!!! :)

Risto Rinne I'm with you there. I always wonder how some of my work would translate to a live concert. Some F1, Duke Nukem Total Meltdown and Dungeon Keeper 2 - that's should do it. Musically it would be quite easy for me I think, but promotion/marketing would be the difficulty.

Nope, not this time. The track I wrote is going to be used in the 'attract' sequence - which may be released as a video as well.
I doubt it has a name is it would have been written by Mark Willott in the video/brand department.
