Went to a vinyl mastering suite at Abbey Roads studio in the 90's was a good day out the engineer guy was cool and we did the Beatles walk across the Zebra crossing just for kicks. 😀😎👍

This is probably one of the best things they could of made, they just made Master easier for people at home

How did Waves "made Master easier for people at home" just by offering a potentially great tool? Did Waves supply buyers with an immaculate speaker system and purpose-built rooms? Create the experience of mastering 1000 songs in the buyers mind? Both being reasons many pay professionals for mastering. I do.

because it sounds at least "halfway there" compared to other suites such as Izotope in many ways, with easier to use presets. Going back years, Izotope kind of ruined some of my recordings, now they sound a lot closer to professional, even if they're not quite there yet

@@themadmattster9647 Unless you got the immaculate speaker system and purpose-built room as well as the 1000+ mastering experience, it will do very little in reality.
It's perfectly reasonable to invest in being able to master your own or the tracks for others, but I suggest many music producers that say they do their own mastering successfully only believe their own hype.

@@abletonliveguru don't know about that, I've mastered my own tracks that have been in the beatport Top 100, had radio play in various countries, indeed mastering your own tracks you gotta be careful cause there's things you can miss, that's why you have to refresh your ears, but it's not impossible to get a great sounding master by yourself, I master my own tracks and tracks for other people too and I'm a student sound engineer.

Far from as informative as it could have been, even if there are other, more detailed videos.

For an audio company the mix on these voices is HORRIBLE! Come on guys, the mouth clicks are out of control. Mic placement and editing matter.
