    Thank you for posting this. This is the way this game should be watched: no idiot commentators making inane statements, no changing camera angles in the middle of a shot, no stupid pocket cameras where you only see the object ball coming at you.
    With a static camera angle, there is a little game I like to play. Before the player shoots, I like to place my mouse cursor at the point where I predict the shooter will leave the cue ball for shape on the next ball, or where I'd leave it if I were playing a safety. Most times my predictions are pretty close, but there are times when the pros see something I don't and they'll play a shot differently than I thought they would. It makes for a great learning experience.

    First frame shows how big pockets are in other forms players would look to develop the 9 ball into open space but because pockets are like buckets you can aim half way down the cushion , easy game this

    Oh wow amazing to see such an amazing player like Shin completely dominate that second round and miss such and easy cut on the 9 seems like she was worried about the scratch but there was no way the angle was perfect to avoid the scratch 🤷‍♂️ pressure breaks pipes or create diamonds!

    I've always found this version of pool a bit unfair. One player can clean the table skillfully, and then miss the final shot, only for the opposing player to come along and win the frame by potting one ball.
    Regardless, both ladies are great to watch, some amazing play here.

    Thanks for posting. Except for a couple of unforced errors, which were really close misses either for safeties or shots, you both played really well, so many dead center pocket shots. Very good patterning. Helps me learn. I definitely need to spend more time between shots looking to the angles for the next two to three, judging by what you two do, and try to stick to simpler KISS methods of getting the rock there (no or one rail if possible), and finishing the approach on or near the shot line if possible. I do look at the full table rotation beforehand, especially for problems, but then get senior moments, or out of line somewhere, and don't reassess like I should. I will slow down and correct that.
    My shooting is getting decent, now it's time to REALLY accurately place the rock, correct direction angles, correct amounts, and reasonably short shots where practical as you girls do so consistently, and GET IT DONE. ;-) Women's play is sure ramping up over time, no doubt.
    Man, it took a while to get that eighth game going, fun to watch the safety play. I'm no expert, but I think Allison had a better shot on that one ball when she ducked, long kicking back toward the corner pocket to her left, and leaving the rock at the opening between the two sets of balls for the two, and blocking the one if it didn't go. Sometimes it's hard to get the feel for the real angle of the shot from the TV feed though, so I could be totally mistaken. Or I might have not been able to see the whole "continuation" picture correctly.
    PS That stroke of Fishers is almost mechanically accurate, every time, beautiful.

    • @bobbyd9319
      @bobbyd9319 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No one said rails, has to be 3 balls past the head string, which is where they break from. Or 2 past the head string, if you make one...etc.

    I don’t understand why they have “women’s” pool. It’s not a strength game. Pure skill and precision. Why not head to head like poker?

      Men vs Women seems a true Equal Competition game/sport. However, the CHESS game competition seems the most equal due to being strictly.
      The male roll of hunter required accurate muscle use from gentle to physical, could may have given the men an atavistical edge, but female stamina today seems a good gender match. Finally, pool has a very long experience Factor for men. I feel there must be 'open' tourneys guys just weren't aware of. Dont know. Let's get the haughty 'empowerment' crowd to get us guys up to date. Google it??

      But being taller with a longer reach is an advantage, which would normally favor males. And there is a strength component on breaks or shots that need to travel longer distances impacting multiple cushions.

      @@robkitchen5344 3 ball rule. On the break shot, a minimum of three object balls must either be pocketed, or touch the head string line, or a combination of both.
      allison had only 1 pocketed ball and zero over string line thus illegal break.
      the rule was made after people (corey deuel) started to make super slow breaks basically leaving all balls on one side of table with pretty much guaranteed ball in corner pocket and shape on 1 ball google ''corey deuel slow break''

    • @stvcolwill
      @stvcolwill 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right... this is rules only for each tourney; meaning it has to be stated before the tourney in the rules about the three ball break rule.... so it's not a given on all tourneys, just the ones they deem it as a rule.

    • @lapnguyen2898
      @lapnguyen2898 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a 3 points rule: On the break shot, a minimum of 3 object balls must either be pocketed, or touch the head string line, or a combination of both. Only one ball was pocketed, so that was one point. However, none of the remaining balls passed the head string line. As a result, Allison failed to execute a "legal break", which is a foul.

      On the break shot, a minimum of three object balls must either be pocketed, or touch the head string line, or a combination of both. For example, if one object ball is pocketed, then at least two object balls must touch the head string line; or if two object balls are pocketed, then at least one object ball must touch the head string line.
