This is an experimental film, something I got inspired to do after watching Shed 17 and the Blair Witch Project. Please note that this is NOT CANON with the Engines of Sodor. It does share the same history as NWR Origins, but it is still an alternate universe.

This still holds up after 6 years. I remember the jumpscare caught me off guard when I first saw this video.

I just question why HIS driver did not put the breaks on in order to stop him from trying to kill Henry and Gordon which would have prevented HIM from coming back as a ghost and prevented this whole thing from happening

Well, 311 was killed, she didn’t kill herself, so she’s out.
Alfred attempted to kill only two engines, while Timothy killed two whole coaches full of people ( well, if you consider his original story true, make of it what you will ).
But Alfred was mad. Bonkers. Crazy.
Timothy was possessed, and I wouldn’t call that his fault.
But still…
I declare this a tie of second, because the real most insane person / engine is the one who said Rusty can travel to Vicarstown, the inland mainland, and Sheffield Park. Less specifically, the Bluebell Railway.
If a narrow gauge railway can go that far, then Britain and America should be building a motorway to connect them. Seriously Allcroft, why did it have to be Stepney? Why not just some other character? Why not make it a dream? Why use Rusty when you could use some people saving Stepney, and basically be a more dramatic retelling of his actual story?
*There are so many ways to fix this story and yet they just went in the direction of making the Skarloey Railway with a dimensional rift.*
I still watch this to this day and every time I watch it I swear I have a slight heart attack when Alfred appears out of nowhere. Still holds up to 2023 standards. Great job 👏

I am pleased to say that a sequel is in the works! Whether it will be finished by Halloween, I don't know but production has begun!

Also this was a good video well done and the sequel was an excellent carry on you managed to keep things semi realistic whilst talking about the supernatural very impressive
About what happens next: I usually do not like to have real ghosts in my series. However, this was an exception. The main objective was to create a mystery and a documentary type video, like the Blair Witch Project and Shed 17. The ghost at the end of Disgrace of the LNER was just there for a spooky effect, I didn't expect it to get so much attention. Alfred is not referenced by name at all until the very end for a reason: to create the mystery ;) Was it Alfred? Was Alfred a zombie? Was it someone else? Was it an engine pretending to be Alfred? These questions are all up to interpretation because it's an unsolved mystery. There's no "ending battle" because the appearance of Alfred has yet to be fully explained (muhahaha). I originally was going to put in an ending with text saying the mystery was never solved but I felt it would be better to leave the ending up to the audiences interpretation.

I certainly didn't expect this ending, and I needed to rewatch NWR Origins V a couple of times in order to recognize all of the clues you left for us. I'd say that this experiment was a success.

After watching the footage at reduced speed, it was easy to tell that it's a posessed version of Alfred's ghost. All in all, the ending is what got me to jump honestly. Didn't expect that at all! Outstanding work!

At 9:32, you can hear a faint voice saying "Gordon, Henry," and I thought "what the hell is that?" Then later on, when the footage was on, you can hear that laugh and I was just like "OOHHHHHH HELLLLLL NOOOOO"

This was pretty interesting. Good video. If only there were more movies or horror videos like this, as I see this video as a nightmare inducer. I mean, since there was no true ending to this, and as you stated that the ending is to be theorized by the audience, a whole plethora of events could unfold. For one thing, Alfred might have his revenge some time after this event. There ought to be more horror stuff like this, as it ends on a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward for a continuation of this as an alternate Thomas universe.

Great work here, I like how the story mostly follows the police in their pursuit of answers instead of Gordon and Henry. Looking at things at the end of the story, we will be left to think on Alfred.
