I’m curious to see exactly how they did it as well. Looks like they did 2” compacted and for garage and street joints they probably cut out a header at the garage and footer at the street..
@@asphaltcontractors oh very nice wish you guys were in NY … as long as the current driveway is solid with no crumbling we can cap it right? And we want to do a little addition as well so treat that portion like a new pave with stone?
Outstanding job nice installation 💯👍🏻
Looks great! I think my driveway might be able to be re-surfaced! Maybe in a couple of years.
How thick is the overlay? How did you blend to existing grades? ie: garage floor and street.

@@discofurious3615 Yep, Exactly.
Roughly where are you located? I’d like something like this done.

@@asphaltcontractors I have 2800 sq ft of driveway Id like an overlay on. Do you know anyone in northern Illinois that you’d refer?
@@4Ruraldad Not that im aware of sorry!
@@asphaltcontractors no worries. I’m noticing the asphalt companies by me aren’t as transparent as yours. A lot of money grabs out here.
What is the tack for? Is it a must have before the new blacktop does down?
Help bond the old layer of asphalt to the new layer.
