    TEN THOUSAND FRAMES?! I was a film major back when film was film, and lucky enough to have gone to Gene's house to record a piece for Cyd's lifetime acievement award back in '85, but this process was just an insane amount of work. Only problem art director me has with this, is that though they'd cleverly managed the reflection of Jerry's image, Gene has a prominent shadow from front lighting, where Jerry has none. Gonna double check the original, but I thought it a rather conspicuious miss. Still in awe of the incredible amount of work this must have taken. Wow!!!

    When I was a very young girl, Disney and classic cartoons gave me an intense dream to be an animator when I grew up. Well, I grew up, and I forgot all about it. Thank you for reminding me why I had such a passion for animation. (Also, thank you for clarifying the reflections of both Gene and Jerry on the floor).

      @@SergeantExtreme no, sadly. This was a little bit before the mainstream internet. I really didn’t have any ready resources to inspire me; and perhaps I myself was a little lazy as well. So I never pursued it. But being a kid raised on classic Looney Tunes / Tex Avery / Renaissance Disney, that desire to understand and appreciate animation is still inside me. Maybe one day I can discover that passion again.

    When Family Guy did this scene with Stewie you can still see Jerry's feet in the reflection on the floor

    • @devinreis5811
      @devinreis5811 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The original footage is in the Library Of Congress in Washington DC, so permission had to be granted, even though it's available to the public. Then it was remastered to bring it into 2009. THEN Stewie was added in digitally. The full three and half minute scene was edited for time, given that each episode is 30 minutes, including Road To Rupert. That's part of why you see Jerry's shadow instead of Stewie's shadow.
