How many small boats are ferrying the contents to shore I wonder 🤔
Cheers Andy ,i live in Dover and never realised it was as close to shore as that .Thanks for filming
GOOD WORK ANDY, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
Above and beyond Andy Good work x
Well done Andy, stay safe fella!
Hi Andy . Thanks Andy for the update. 👍
What the????
Make sure you stay safe. Especially with certain unsavoury characters being around.
It looks better than the dinghys , maybe here to rescue uk
Notice how the relevant authorities haven't bothered to tow it further away..
Thank you Andy
The cargo ship, MV Ruby which is Maltese registered and carrying the ammonium nitrate cargo, previously reported a cracked hull and damage to its propeller and rudder following a grounding incident shortly after leaving Kandalaksha. Russia. The owners of the vessel are Cielo Shipping Pte. Ltd. and the management company Pacific Rim Shipping Management Pte. Ltd. The ship is operated by Serenity Ship Management, a Dubai-based company. (Not a Russian ship).
Thanks for the common sense. The Ruby docked in Bootle UK recently too. The fear mongering from the main stream is laughable. Lots of ships carry fertilizer.
Bit suspect. Been there for about 2 weeks, None of the Baltic countries would let it dock, and Malta, it's supposed destination, will not let it dock unless the cargo is discharged. The explosive power in that ship is about 7 times greater than the explosion in Beirut.
If the worst happened, and it affected the SS Richard Montgomery, could be a lot of carnage on that bit of the coast.
They could trigger the montgomery and blame it on that ship...............
Does that mean if that part of the coast is destroyed,France will be further than only 20miles away?🤔 🚢 🎉😂
But is it being held under the same circumstances as the Beirut explosion? If stored differently, could pose no risk at all (even with many multiples of of stock). Or could pose greater risk.
any walkie talkies on board !
Keep doing what you do andy .
Your doing very well in my opinion and many more.
Thank you 😊
Many vessels under different flags anchor there,it’s deep water protected by the Margate sands at low water, called the quarantine berth, originally sailing ships anchored there for quarantine, customs, and pilotage, ais will give anybody information on vessels moving through the channel so no great mystery to unfold.
Putin and starmer on board having a pow wow about the return of the sausages over a vodka 😂.
🎉😂😊 brilliant idea sounds like a plan🎉 it's all most 5 of Nov 😅🎉
hmmmm an ingredient in things that make you go boom......... hope to god it doesn't ...
Would certainly solve the seagull problem 👍❤️🇬🇧
I guess if it goes bang, it solves our small boat crises.

@@alangood8190 My dad was a pc in Ramsgate so I heard all sorts of stories, none I would want to share here though. I went to Upton CP and Charles Dickens in Broadstairs for two years and even at my young age then it was clear that the area has a really dark underbelly.
@@alangood8190 I want to know too I was at College there at that time, most exciting thing happening was catching the train from Broadstairs to Margate for hot doughnuts from Dreamland 😂😂
@@Rosebud-l9p The old fashioned sweet shop where they made traditional sweets on the premises in the back street. Glorious smells. I used to be fascinated watching the machine making and frying the ring doughnuts. That was in Dreamland best as I can recall.

Can we have it parked in the channel, stop the boats springs to mind ..
WOW
I'd be more concerned about the "rubber-hulled" boats if I were you, Andy... 😂
Nicely and conveniently sitting there awaiting a hurricane.
Andy good work but be careful mate 👍
Daaaarn ta Margate.
The ship must have power as it is lit up like Blackpool illuminations.
Gaz Yorkshire
🎉omg i got my auntie living in Margate and friends living in kent god help them
The dark conditions are wonderful with a face like yours
Surely that's got to be far closer than its supposed to be. International waters not UK waters.
Ahh Andy i would think if that went up the shockwave will be the same as the Buncefield oil refinery in Hemel and i would think a mini tidal wave would hit Margate.
Marc In Bletchley
Fear fear fear. Get a grip folks there are ships full of fertilizer everywhere.
Ammonium nitrate is not an explosive on it's own.
Gaz Yorkshire.
Diesel for the generators and the engine and 20,000 tons of ammonium nitrate?? Leave Margate!
Personally, I wouldn’t be standing even THAT FAR AWAY FROM IT, Andy… It is reported to be carrying SEVEN TIMES the tonnage of Ammonium Nitrate that caused the MASSIVE explosion in Beirut Harbour a few years ago (a monumental disaster, causing untold death, injury & widespread destruction, from which the fragile Lebanese economy has never recovered…).
Ships dock everyday all over the world full of fertilizer. We'd starve if they didn't. The Beirut explosion was a warehouse which somehow caught fire.
@@DHall-xz7ke While that’s true, the circumstances of this decrepit & unseaworthy Russian ship’s voyage are suspicious, to say the least… so it should not be moored so close to one of our seaside towns. Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned our Government that there will be a price to pay for our escalating intervention in the Ukraine War & he also vowed that there would be “consequences” for the part that he believes we played in the blowing up of their hugely expensive Nord Stream undersea Gas Pipeline… What better way to visit such “consequences” upon us, than with what amounts to a huge floating bomb which - if it does explode adjacent to one of our coastal towns - will result in colossal damage & civilian casualties, a huge & justifiable public outcry against our increasingly useless & incompetent Government & Civil authorities, while providing plausible deniability of it being a deliberate Russian reprisal…? 🇷🇺😏🧐🇬🇧
Hopefully no nukes on board.
@@DHall-xz7ke Not a Russian ship? Which country does the ship belong to?
@@madness-i3j Flying a Malta flag. "The ship's owners, registered in Malta, and the managers, based in the UAE"
Nice one 👍
Are you sure that's it, the other day a shipping channel said it was outside the 12-mile exclusion zone and that looks about 5 miles out to me. Did your sat nav that you on the Bei-Route way
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING THAT TOWED TO FRANCE.😮😅😂😂
How long has it been there?
Saw something very similar anchored up in the Bristol channel recently
How do we know its a Russian vessel? It looks like a survey boat to me. They tend to hang around doing tests for a few weeks. Used to see them in Cornwall every year, testing the south west coastal waters.
Registered in Malta....local reporters get murdered for saying anything anti Russian in Malta
One torpedo and you got a light show😂
I read about that boat a few days ago and believe that the cargo is very bad and the ship has got engine or other problems. Why on this earth was that allowed to sail close to our coast. I understand it was not allowed to dock at it's original destination. 😡🤬
Yup, that should do it.
Sue Grey has joined the house of Lords......
They have TO GO !
I thought it was a Maltese ship?
The sky is ominous
im not sure id be standing so close to that if i were you, when that goes bang its going to leave a bit of a mess on that coastline
👍andy
Good work Andy keep up the great work
Highly suspicious.
Bad feeling about this. Hows that for timing.
I just went down to the bottom of the garden and had a look at that 😬
If you put the position of the ship into Google Earth and measure its distance from the coast it's 21.5km. Are you sure that's the right ship?
Why is no one moving it?....
The Ruby
If it goes off like that Lebanon explosion we could be seeing a tsunami event...
Is it waiting to pick up Comrade Lammy ?
As The Fall of Communism
was in 1991,
WHY
would "a supposedly" Russian ship
want him ?
1991 The Fall of The USSR.
1991 The Break-up of The USSR.
Do you compare
the Germany of today with the previous
Regime of
1 February 1933 - April 1945 ?
SECOND ATTEMPT
1991 The Fall of Communism.
1991 The Break-up of The USSR.
I believe,
you have a gap in your knowledge of history.
Westbrook?
Just been looking on myshiptracking, and cant see this russian’ ship off the coast of margate…
On boat watch it's 10.5 miles north east of North foreland been there ages ,so don't think it's the ship in this video
Booooom. warfare is brutally.
Especially when the telly tells you fux all😂😂😂🎉🎉😂🎉
Why is it stuck there. I mean the sea out there is pretty deep. I cannot fathom the reason.
@@raybeer5213 it was not a question, there could be a hurricane on its way and imo leaving this ship full of this toxic substance could be a huge risk to public health.
What end of margate
@@AndyTheGabbyCabby don't know that. Been to margate many times over the years
if you know where the seafront and Dreamland is I wad about two minutes from there on foot.
@@AndyTheGabbyCabby I know it well Andy.ty. concerned about what it is doing sat there. We are now getting illegal ships full of god knows what on board and so close to the shoreline.
Looks like a pick up/drop off point to me. That's a swimmable distance.
If you take advice please stay much further away if you want to see an explosion involving only 10 % of the boats contents watch the explosion in Beirut from last year.
By all accounts if the Ruby goes up, Margate could end up in Sussex. I wouldn't be hanging around there any longer than necessary if I was in your shoes. A convenient maritime 'accident' waiting to happen.
Move on , nothing to see here, comrade!!!!!!
Fertilizer?
Yeah fertiliser. Check out the Oklahoma bombing in 1995 - the same stuff mixed with fuel oil. Just 4.8 tons of the stuff. Multiple deaths and injuries. 300 buildings damaged in a 48 block area. It just takes a Diesel / Fuel oil spill on that boat to mix with the stuff and you have the makings of a catastrophic reaction. There could be 7 to 10 times the amount that blew Beirut to smithereens on board that vessel.
A think people are getting a little excited. Whilst some debris may land on the coast. Its not powerful enough to cause too much damage. Broken shards of glass might be an injury causer. And to cause Montgomery to explode it would have to be a nuke.
Big deal ; do something.
Putin’s equivalent of an old fashioned “fire ship”, but with far more devastating consequences… 💥
Why the comment 'comrade'? It is 25 years since Russia was a communist country. Do keep up
