The Nub is one of the most popular boards in the sims collection, take one run on it, and it's obvious to see why. Aimed at riders looking for a board that excels in all types of terrain and conditions, it's hard to describe the Nub as anything other than the ultimate daily driver. Built around an advanced long-nosed twin shape which features an extended nose but with everything between the contact points centred, the Nub combines the poise and control of a freestyle board with the float and drive of a freeride board. This versatile shape ensures that it's equally happy lapping the park as it is on a powder day, which, to be fair, there aren't that many boards that do two such different types of terrain so well. Now great as the Nub is in the park and the pow, the way it rides when you want to get out and blast around the resort is what makes it so special. Its combination of traditional camber, tight radius sidecut and optimised stance position bring this board alive on the piste. Nimble underfoot, it just eggs you on; you're continuously looking for things to slash off and always wanting to get it carving. It's just so much fun to ride, so it's no surprise that the Nub is the go-to board for Sims Team riders John Jackson, Scott Blum, Keegan Valaika and Shuhei Sato.
