I honestly think the guy who chose the Translated title was just looking down on MMO players since not only does Net-juu no Susume does not translate into THAT, the chosen English subtitle from the author is "Recommendation of the Wonderful Virtual Life", as you can clearly see from the Opening. I guess Crunchyroll thought that was too long and that they didn't want to bother coming up with a plausible translation to Net-juu. Reminds me of how they translated Oregairu's name into "My teen ROmantic comedy SNAFU" even though the title is nowhere near close to what the japanese one means.
and that's why it makes the title kinda tells you already what you're gonna get. she's a neet who is an mmo junkie so knowing that you'll already have an idea what kind of setting the show has for the viewers.
