Chickens that lay the olive colored eggs are not actually a specific breed but a hybrid made from a chicken that lays blue eggs and a chicken that lays dark brown eggs. Our particular ‘olive egger’ is a Black Copper Maran hybrid. Thanks for your interest and we hope to always share and help people learn as we have been doing.
