If I'm right you need to hammer the bearing in on the outer metal edge, not the black area of the bearing. So that means you're ratchet socket is too small?
Great video… i been referring to it many times. Im now actually performing the task. Question I have is, after the pressure plate is screwed and installed and after you use the special tool to test that its straight, should you be able to spin the clutch disk easily? I have it all put together but when I insert the tool and try to turn the internal clutch disk, it seems to be pretty tight. I appreciate any input you could give me regarding this. Quick question...can my flywheel cause my car to shudder real bad when I try to accelerate in first gear ...iv changed mountings,all the bushes ,I took my car to have a check up to see what needs replacing suspension wise.... everything was okay....i even changed my gearbox ...(b20 eg conversion....)only when I try to accelerate it shudders till the car gets rolling then shifting gears I have no problems...and iv changed my clutch and I can't figure out why it won't stop shaking on stop & go moments...pls help
Sounds to me you have clutch shudder. I experienced that some years back. My issue was the pressure plate was too weak for the clutch. Basically it's when the clutch isn't grabbing properly. Like you said its usually noticable in 1st gear. Thanks for watching.
Nope none at all. There's only a few things I actually torque to spec and this isn't one of them. Just make sure everything is tight. And if you want to use a little thread lock it wouldn't hurt. Thanks for watching 😁👍
The grip of the clutch was a noticeable difference from stock. But I don't recall feeling a difference from having a lighter flywheel. It may have revved a little quicker. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

Clutch usually has a marking on it saying trans side jus gotta look for it
