One time I went into the ocean after putting it on and my skin flared up and flaked a ton. I never burn but this looked like my face touched the sun (it was so red). It was horrible. I know it works for some people but just watch out because it doesn’t work for everyone. I’m not trying to be hateful (I love this channel) but I’m just wanted to warn people and say something that works great for one person might not work for everyone.

I use Eczema Honey brand's Skin Soothing honey colloidal oatmeal cream on my face with Mad Hippie Face oil. I also use Pond's Cold Cream moisturizer. For facewash I alt between Cetaphil and La Roche Posay. I occasionally use Differin's retinol, and a couple times a week I use the brand Topical's face serum overnight. I try to use SPF during the day, but I'm increasingly becoming more consistent with that. Oh yay, and I use the supplement called BIOSIL. A routine doesn't have to have a trillion steps to be decent.
i absolutely love all of drunk elephants products, they worked wonders for me and they worked so quickly but I do know people who broke out because off them so i would say its kind of like hair care products, some are awesome for some people and horrible for others. so you really need to try it before making your decision but i say drunk elephant is a must buy in my book
it could be nice, but it's the long-term effects that will hurt, there will always be better products that will work better, it could start to dry it out or not react well to other things, etc. there are better alternatives for drunk elephants. It's an easily influenced brand that won't work in the long run.
hmm i use the cerave moisturizing lotion because it's a good simple moisturizer and i have other products to target my skin issues like acne and texture. I have a cerave cleanser (cream to foam hydrating cleanser) that does have amino acids which help the skin renew so it kinda "progresses" skin while maintaining. But overall my moisturizer is usually simple with not too many active ingridients since i have those in masks and serums/spot treatments.
Is the body shop a good brand to use on skin? Not just face like body to. And some smart brands to use when you have really skin. Because I tried a face soap then my face got really really red.
As someone who goes to the dermatologist often what she said about cerave is not 100% true Cetaphil is what I normally use on my skin but they are very similar and cerave is not bad. It does not make your skin better just cleans it which can help it but dermatologist use it with other products that they specifically chose for your skin. all the that the cleanser and the moisturizer are supposed to do is clean your face and moisturize it. They aren’t supposed to fix your skin having clean skin obviously can help but when they choose to give you those products, the goal is not to fix your skin. That’s why they use other products as well.
when I Look up the glymed plus spot treatment I dont see benzoyl peroxide in its ingredients, but i do see the isopropyl peroxide which is why you didn't want to use the mario bedescu. SOOOO...? also the glommed plus advertise that they use essential oils which you just said you shouldn't use either?
Well she said herself that she isn’t a dermatologist so it’s better if you watch videos from dermatologists and listen to what ingredient’s that are good, then you can look after the ingredients in the products. Also everyone’s skin is different so even if it doesn’t work for someone it doesn’t mean that it can’t work for you😊
I’m not sure but so like I use Mario badescu acne facial cleaner if there are any professionals out there and I am a teenage girl so I’m going to get acne but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Is that cleanser good for your skin ?

What she said about “drunk elephant” and all the TikTok viral brands is true, I found this really good skincare routine called “Glow Ny Boots!” It’s helped me so much and you can get it for 4 pounds for everything, amazingly priced too, and just with getaphil, but what isn’t true is coconut oil, it is so amazing for your skin, it doesn’t suit everyone’s skin and maybe doesn’t suit Amanda’s but it suits me and my grandmas so well
i have eczema on my face but it only flares up when it's in the sun a lot. ever since i used my dad's pimecrolimus cream it has helped with the red patches i get but for the spots it mostly flared up in, the color is not even 😭 its like lighter but yea. my eczema runs in the family cuz of my dad's side and i hate it A LOT
I use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream so I just looked over to ingredient list. Neutrogena does not use any alcohol in the product. or at least this one from the number one thing that is in it is water for the hydroboost gel cream.
