Anyone who cannot discern the truth being preached here is deceived. The messages preached by Pastor Morris have been such a blessing and such a feeding of the soul, it will revive your heart. And I'm not talking about money, although I know God will bless His people because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
After coming back to Christ I started giving back to Christ and blessing the nation of Israel god has blessed me with a new truck after my dad passed away I was able to give my mom money I go out and go shopping I was able to help my daughter start blessing Israel and he bless you like there is no tomorrow I will bless those who bless you and I will cruse those who cruse try it you’ll be surprised
Those of you that claim the Bible does not teach tithes, either haven't read it or your heart is hardened to the word. In the beginning it was giving of your first harvest, money wasn't used. Jesus spoke about giving all the time!
Thanks to you pastor Robert I am understanding the word of God. I have been fighting the devil all my life because I couldn’t comprehend the word of God. You are very much needed in this world and I am trying to stay true to Jesus now and ignore satan because now I realize he is responsible for tearing me down but he truly has no power over me unless I allow it! I never knew this was in the Bible. I will now give, thank you for this important message. It goes beyond blessing our lives, it’s blessing other lives by saving their souls. It’s extremely sad to know people are out there starving to death, struggling daily, and have never heard who God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit is. These are the lost souls that must be saved, everyone deserve to know who their maker is, who owns them and who loves them. If my contribution can do that, I am happily giving till the day I die ❤

Funny thing is that me and my husband were just talking about if tithing was for Christians or not. I was saying it wasn't cause it was part of the law and they tithed food too. There is NO scripture to support what you say. The tithe was NEVER monetary and was NEVER commanded by God of Christians. The below is straight from Jesus. "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matthew 15:9) Is Jesus a liar?
You are twisting scripture to suit your perverted view. What Matthew is saying is, and you MUST read 15:8 and 15:10 to get proper perspective on 15:9.15:8 says; "This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." (AKJV) The true worship of God consists in the union of the heart to him - where this exists not, a particle of the spirit of devotion cannot be found. 15:9 reads "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (KJV) By the traditions of the elders, not only the word of God was perverted, but his worship also was greatly corrupted. But the Jews were not the only people who have acted thus: whole Christian Churches, as well as sects and parties, have acted in the same way. Men must not mould the worship of God according to their fancy - it is not what they think will do - is proper, innocent, etc., but what God himself has prescribed, that he will acknowledge as his worship. However sincere a man may be in a worship of his own invention, or of man's commandment, yet it profits him nothing. Christ himself says it is in vain. To condemn such, may appear to some illiberal; but whatever may be said in behalf of sincere heathens, and others who have not had the advantages of Divine Revelation, there is no excuse for the man who has the Bible before him. 15:10 says; "And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand : Christ shows that the defilement they ought to fear, was not from what entered their mouths as food, but from what came out of their mouths, which showed the wickedness of their hearts. For that reason, we cannot change the tithe that He said was to be agricultural into a monetary tithe. we cannot, in good conscience, bring a tithe that was meant for Israel alone to observe to another geographical location. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. You see, you cannot just focus on the fact that God commanded a tenth, and then totally ignore what that tenth was to consist of, where it was to be taken to, to whom it was to be given, and when it was to be given. You are picking and choosing that a tithe is required, yet dismissing all other aspects concerning God’s holy tithe. Those who teach contrary to the written Word of God are not in agreement with God and therefore, cannot be walking with God.

Since I don't have agricultural but I do have great monetary increase so I'll give that lol...One thing for sure; "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2Cor9:7) I am not condemned because there is now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus and give cash instead of bullocks, dove, or sheep....That's Me lol...! : )

Every Christian should diligently pray and seek God’s wisdom in the matter of participating in tithing and/or how much to give (James 1:5). Above all, all tithes and offerings should be given with pure motives and an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). Yep, I am a faithful tither and cheerful giver and I am soooooooooooo blessed! : )

O...yes! I agree 100%...tithing is SO RIGHT! I see it in my life too! I am SOOOO BLESSED !!! Also Jesus personally taught me...the POWER OF TITHING!!! My gross 10% income (before any deduction) is totally for God and His purposes!!! People who don't tithe... loves money more than God....hence they want to justify this Command of God...with all their fleshly reasonings...smh !!!

Also, show me where scripture states that those who don't give 10% of their gross income love money more than God. 2Cor 9:7 states that we are to give as purposed in our heart, not under compulsion or of necessity, because God loves a cheerful giver. in malachi it says the ordinances were nailed to the cross...there were 4 tithes in the bible totaling 23%...and for the law there were 613 and ALL had to be kept for a blessing not just one and tithing is only one of them...Russell Kelly qrote about tithing and his book has all listed..go read it you will learn something

Can you show me the scripture that states Christians are commanded to tithe? The only people ever commanded to tithe were the Israelites under the Mosaic Law. And the tithe was ALWAYS agricultural items - NEVER monetary.

Excellent teaching ... very new to the Tithe. I have done it wrong and had family blessings. I was deciding were to send (mine) the Tithe Last Sunday I started attending a local church and gave the Tithe to that church. Family contact text by phone on Sunday. Financial matters attacked by two large increases on Monday (Satan attacks, looking for a retreat), but I have gone through this before. 01-26-2021 Next month the Tithe goes to the local church, and offerings to TV Ministries will be on hold as I do it all correctly.
I'm struggling with this sermon. I've been trying to come to grips with who I even am or what I should do in life. Growing up, the Bible was used as a weapon by my mother to make sure she didn't have any trouble with me. I've always tried to do enough to be good enough for my mother to love me and finally came to accept that God loves me where I am. I've been in an abusive and controlling marriage for more than a decade. I've tried being good to him and it hasn't changed his nature. He is still all about himself. I've tried leaving to be on my own, but my anxiety disorder and panic attacks kept me here. I have no income and have never lived on my own and was so overwhelmed by my lack of skills and facing the world that I couldn't even hold on to who I was. It threw me into stress seizures multiple times. I don't know what to do or how to even make a living for myself to be able to leave. I've always felt like I must have done something that didn't please God, or I would be able to leave by now. I feel like I must have been selfish, or things wouldn't be this way. I saw his pain before we married and wanted to help him. Maybe I saw my own pain when I saw his, I don't know, I haven't figured that out yet. I do get to listen to your sermons and occasionally now get to feel loved by God. It's not a feeling that I'm that familiar with. If it weren't for your sermons, the Bible would have continued to be a book telling me everything I did wrong and never being able to see where I did anything right. I know I can't "work" my way into heaven, but I know I have to work to be able to leave him and his addictions and women - at least he isn't beating me right now, that has taken a break - hopefully a long one this time. I'm sorry, I don't even remember what I was going to ask anymore. I'm struggling to keep my mind straight, and it all feels hopeless. I thank God for loving me even when I'm too stressed to be able to feel it. But I feel guilty for wanting to be able to make money and get away from this nightmare that's been going on for 13 years now. Just pray for me please. I don't know what to pray right now.

Something that i am working on also (along with my tithe of income being 1st, but also my time (every day before anything else (exercise or my phone or computer), my praise and gratitude as well). It may aound silly but be mindful of the order that you spend your waking moments and see if He Shows you the same.

Anyone who cannot discern the truth being preached here is deceived. The messages preached by Pastor Morris have been such a blessing and such a feeding of the soul, it will revive your heart. I never knew this was in the Bible. I will now give, thank you for this important message. It goes beyond blessing our lives, it’s blessing other lives by saving their souls. It’s extremely sad to know people are out there starving to death, struggling daily, and have never heard who God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit is. These are the lost souls that must be saved, everyone deserve to know who their maker is, who owns them and who loves them. If my contribution can do that, I am happily giving till the day I die ❤

What Matthew is saying is, and you MUST read 15:8 and 15:10 to get proper perspective on 15:9.15:8 says; "This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." (AKJV) The true worship of God consists in the union of the heart to him - where this exists not, a particle of the spirit of devotion cannot be found. 15:9 reads "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (KJV) By the traditions of the elders, not only the word of God was perverted, but his worship also was greatly corrupted. But the Jews were not the only people who have acted thus: whole Christian Churches, as well as sects and parties, have acted in the same way. Men must not mould the worship of God according to their fancy - it is not what they think will do - is proper, innocent, etc., but what God himself has prescribed, that he will acknowledge as his worship. However sincere a man may be in a worship of his own invention, or of man's commandment, yet it profits him nothing. Christ himself says it is in vain. To condemn such, may appear to some illiberal; but whatever may be said in behalf of sincere heathens, and others who have not had the advantages of Divine Revelation, there is no excuse for the man who has the Bible before him. 15:10 says; "And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand : Christ shows that the defilement they ought to fear, was not from what entered their mouths as food, but from what came out of their mouths, which showed the wickedness of their hearts. Nothing will last in the soul but the regenerating graces of the Holy Spirit; and nothing should be admitted into the church but what is from above; therefore, whoever is offended by a plain, seasonable declaration of the truth, we should not be troubled at it. The disciples ask to be better taught as to this matter. Where a weak head doubts concerning any word of Christ, an upright heart and a willing mind seek for instruction. It is the heart that is desperately wicked, Jer 17:9, for there is no sin in word or deed, which was not first in the heart. They all come out of the man, and are fruits of that wickedness which is in the heart, and is wrought there. When Christ teaches, he will show men the deceitfulness and wickedness of their own hearts; he will teach them to humble themselves, and to seek to be cleansed in the Fountain opened for sin and uncleanness.

God's word does not say that tithing is 10% of our income. It says that His holy tithe is agricultural produce from within the Promised Land.

Abram's tithe? From war spoils, not from his monetary income.

Amos 3:3 asks the question, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”.
An interesting question indeed. A question today could be asked why so many who claim to be walking with God disagree with His Word? Are they truly walking with God?

God’s Word tells us in Acts 15:5,10,19-20,24,28-29 that Gentile Believers are not to be required to keep the Mosaic Law. Are you in agreement with God? Are you walking with Him? or are you following a god that demands Gentile Believers obey the Mosaic Law?
5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

Are you in agreement with God? Are you walking with Him? or are you following a god that says the commanded tithe is money?
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
Are you in agreement and walking with God? or have you rejected His decree and chosen your own path?
There is not one Scripture in the entire Bible where God amended His tithe command to extend to the New Testament Church. Nor is there an amendment in His Word to make the tithe a monetary tithe instead of an agricultural one.
If God didn’t amend the tithe in His Word, how can we, who are supposed to walk in the Truth as it is written in His Holy Word, say He requires tithes of money? There is absolutely no justification for such an action.
Proverbs 30:6 tells us we are not to add to God’s Word. For that reason, we cannot change the tithe that He said was to be agricultural into a monetary tithe. we cannot, in good conscience, bring a tithe that was meant for Israel alone to observe to another geographical location.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
You see, you cannot just focus on the fact that God commanded a tenth, and then totally ignore what that tenth was to consist of, where it was to be taken to, to whom it was to be given, and when it was to be given. You are picking and choosing that a tithe is required, yet dismissing all other aspects concerning God’s holy tithe.
Those who teach contrary to the written Word of God are not in agreement with God and therefore, cannot be walking with God.
You do as you feel lead and I will do as I know the Holy Spirit is leading me. Since I don't have agricultural but I do have great monetary increase so I'll give that lol...One thing for sure; "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2Cor9:7) I am not condemned because there is now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus and give cash instead of bullocks, dove, or sheep....That's Me lol...! : )

Tithing is NOT a command for Christians and was NEVER monetary. You are so blessed? Here's what Jesus says about that

My gross 10% income (before any deduction) is totally for God and His purposes!!!

What a powerful teaching and such great revelation of the scriptures! I have so enjoyed listening to and studying the Word with this great pastor. He has such a heart for Jesus! I have no idea why Christians would think we don't tithe anymore?? If you tithe you know that you can never out give God! I have found there IS a blessing with tithing. How is the church to operate without a tithe from those who are members? I am so happy to see a pastor preaching TRUTH still!
your deceived..OT tithing was 4 tithes at 23% and the 7th year no tithe..tithe was always and only food..never money period..paul said in galatians if you keep one laws you must keep all the laws..tithing was a law..have you been keeping the other 612 as paul said..no..then you have not obeyed the bible then..and jesus nailed the ordinances to the cross so what gives you the right to pull one off and practice what he died to stop...

Our selfishness, pride, etc.etc. disobedience, sins, trespasses, iniquities were nailed, not our giving. God GAVE His Son because He so LOVED the world, if we are to become His image and likeness and we say "we love " then giving is an expression of that love. It does not come naturally, it grows as we start doing this, it is a matter of the heart. Where your treasure is, that is where your heart will be also says Jesus! if you want your heart to be in His kingdom, then start putting your treasure there, out of gratefulness, remembering that we were slaves to our sins. when we give our hearts to the Lord our wallets go with it and we start living the blessed life. giving is worship. Malachi 3 verse 6 says that God does NOT change, He does not changes His ordinances and tithing is one of them. You choose blessing or curses on your finances, that is up to you. in malachi it says the ordinances were nailed to the cross...there were 4 tithes in the bible totaling 23%...and for the law there were 613 and ALL had to be kept for a blessing not just one and tithing is only one of them...Russell Kelly qrote about tithing and his book has all listed..go read it you will learn something

Can you show me the scripture that states Christians are commanded to tithe? The only people ever commanded to tithe were the Israelites under the Mosaic Law. And the tithe was ALWAYS agricultural items - NEVER monetary.

i was raised on a farm,til my dad was bedriden 92 yrs old,he farmed,planting seeds.so when i got born again in 76,i learned this thru oral roberts,kenneth copleland..others. i did, my exhusband was raised baptist,etc.. one sunday, he said,that's ...bull.. so i had to do it with my money,,he stop going church, 6 yrs,later, i making more than him, he STOP working, i divorced him....today he's living in a garage,he still thinks he's right...i pray for him,cause he insults..jesus..died for him..righteous man,proud, GOD curses.. my 3 kids turn out unbelievably blessed.i had raised them,fought to catholic...i'm happy to have seen,been thru trial to be who,where i am today...

Excellent teaching ... very new to the Tithe. I have done it wrong and had family blessings. I was deciding were to send (mine) the Tithe Last Sunday I started attending a local church and gave the Tithe to that church. Family contact text by phone on Sunday. Financial matters attacked by two large increases on Monday (Satan attacks, looking for a retreat), but I have gone through this before. 01-26-2021 Next month the Tithe goes to the local church, and offerings to TV Ministries will be on hold as I do it all correctly.
Give where it is needed and from where you are fed, not just where it's begged. Doing for the least is like you are doing it for Jesus.
I'm struggling with this sermon. I've been trying to come to grips with who I even am or what I should do in life. Growing up, the Bible was used as a weapon by my mother to make sure she didn't have any trouble with me. I've always tried to do enough to be good enough for my mother to love me and finally came to accept that God loves me where I am. I've been in an abusive and controlling marriage for more than a decade. I've tried being good to him and it hasn't changed his nature. He is still all about himself. I've tried leaving to be on my own, but my anxiety disorder and panic attacks kept me here. I have no income and have never lived on my own and was so overwhelmed by my lack of skills and facing the world that I couldn't even hold on to who I was. It threw me into stress seizures multiple times. I don't know what to do or how to even make a living for myself to be able to leave. I've always felt like I must have done something that didn't please God, or I would be able to leave by now. I feel like I must have been selfish, or things wouldn't be this way. I saw his pain before we married and wanted to help him. Maybe I saw my own pain when I saw his, I don't know, I haven't figured that out yet. I do get to listen to your sermons and occasionally now get to feel loved by God. It's not a feeling that I'm that familiar with. If it weren't for your sermons, the Bible would have continued to be a book telling me everything I did wrong and never being able to see where I did anything right. I know I can't "work" my way into heaven, but I know I have to work to be able to leave him and his addictions and women - at least he isn't beating me right now, that has taken a break - hopefully a long one this time. I'm sorry, I don't even remember what I was going to ask anymore. I'm struggling to keep my mind straight, and it all feels hopeless. I thank God for loving me even when I'm too stressed to be able to feel it. But I feel guilty for wanting to be able to make money and get away from this nightmare that's been going on for 13 years now. Just pray for me please. I don't know what to pray right now.
I am also in an abusive marriage and I don't have a job. God can will deliver us. Do you have a church? Others can help you carry your burdens. We will be amazed. You're not alone in your suffering. God loves you and I'm praying with you and for you. Much love and blessings to you ❤

Something that i am working on also (along with my tithe of income being 1st, but also my time (every day before anything else (exercise or my phone or computer), my praise and gratitude as well). It may aound silly but be mindful of the order that you spend your waking moments and see if He Shows you the same.
We need to take these comments to heart and live by them.
