Season 1 was probably the best season overall. All the characters were great. The storyline was good and easy to follow. Plus AFSIN BEY was in season one the real man's man
Shoaib Mosiani It is different to How ceremonies are done ! The Maulvi asks the man and woman if they want to marry each other to get their consent and say a little prayer and give Mubarak to each other and that’s it ! We can see what is the result of such a consent !
We have been unlucky because Esra the actress who played Halime wanted to leave the show because of a personal problem or she was not being used for a more challenging role because she was always shown as having a baby whereas Ertugrul was out fighting most of the time! It is also because the writer wanted to give it a new direction and both Esra and Engin who played Ertugrul wanted to leave the show but the story writer persuade him to stay on ! and cast him opposite the insignificant actress who played the character of Ibilege, therefore, we see the new relationship although it was fiction and Iblege who was a historical figure had nothing to do with Ibilege whom I really like cast with Ertugrul who was too big in stature as the Margrave and such an important figure! She really stole the limelight of the show!

Yes, that is really cruel! Because he loved Halime so much and he even says that his heart is with Halime but that he has to marry for bringing the tribes together it was much more than that because Ibilige was always finding an opportunity to help his son or other! But the wedding at the end remains in our memory and his love of Halime is forgotten which he tried so hard for! Never mind I try to forget his love for Halime! When he sits with her scarf and tells Halime that his heart is still with her was good to hear! I find he is seen to be showing affection rather than the love he had for Halime ! He is talking about keeping his promise all the time and praising her for her working against the enemy and fighting for justice etc! I find that Ertugrul looks exceptionally good with his black turban and his friendly manner with Ibilege who is talking so much out of nervousness! I am glad the Season finished at that but still leaves us to wonder if it was love or affection and protection because she had no family and was alone after her brother and sister were killed! Whatever it was, it does make you sad !
