Insha’Allah if you’re still looking for recent classes for beginners, this channel has a playlist called “I want to be a Muslim” that you may like. If you’re in Philadelphia, they have a class just for sisters every Sunday at 3 that goes over basics of Islam in detail. There is also an online program called “Islamic information center” (it should come up on Google) that has a very good course for new Muslims if you’re looking to review the basics. And truly Allāhu subhana wa ta’ala knows best. May He bless you with the best of success ameen!

Jazzakallahu khair for your attention to detail and desire to provide clarification 💐 With respect to the parts of a women that the man who expects to marry her can see, our teacher mentions at around 1:07:30 in video one that he is not saying there is ijmaa (consensus among the scholars) about this particular issue. The shaykh will also discuss a different opinion in a more detailed book later in the series Ijmaa is very particular proof as established consensus affects the strength of a ruling. Issues that do not have ijmaa may have valid differences of opinion, and knowing this can benefit our understanding of our brothers’ and sisters’ behavior and our having good thoughts of them, help us make more informed decisions for ourselves, etc.
