The Firefly version with the 17 lbr could destroy the Tiger at much longer range. Joe Eakins killed 3 Tigers, including Michael Wittman's in a single engagement. Later Shermans had main gun stabilization plus a much faster power turret traverse. Tiger was state of the art in 1942, by '44 it was just another heavy tank.

And why would they come out of hiding. That 88 will take out anything!!! This is just a movie. My dad was there for real. 2nd armored division, Hell on Wheels ( which is missing from under the 2nd armored division patch) 3rd army, which is also missing. Sad these movies don't show the real horror of war. People believe what they told, ( fake Corona pandemic, ect. )
